Sunrisers Hyderabad host Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2019 Match 8 Friday and both teams are looking to bounce back after losing their opening matches of the tournament.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
This is the Sunrisers first home fixture of the tournament. Last season’s runners up opened their campaign away to the Knight Riders on Sunday and a late KKR blitz saw them go down by 6 wickets. The Sunrisers batted first and posted a healthy total of 181/3 with David Warner top scoring with 85 on his return to action whilst Bairstow (39) and Vijay Shankar (40 not out) made healthy contributions. The Sunrisers had KKR in trouble at 118/4 in 15.3 overs but Andre Russell propelled the Knight Riders to victory.
Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals opening match came at home to the Kings XI on Monday and they were beaten by 14 runs. Tasked with chasing 185 for victory the Royals made a great start and at 148/2 they had things under control. A controversial “run out” of Joss Buttler (69) turned the game and the Royals middle order crumbled with their innings closing on 170/9.

Betting Angle
With both sides looking to make up for defeats in games they arguably should have won earlier in the week this might get close and although the Sunrisers look the stronger bowling unit, I do like this Royals batting line up.
The visitors are a speculative play at the price.
