Earlier in the pool stage India beat Ireland, Pakistan and USA and their clash with Canada was washed out.

The Verdict

A one sided betting heat and I'll take just a passing interest on the price boost for Arshdeep Singh to 3 or more wickets.

Bet: Arshdeep Singh to take 3+ wickets was 5/2 now 7/2 with Sportingbet

Afghanistan v Australia (St. Vincent)

Afghanistan's 47 run loss to India in their first Super 8 match saw Rashid Khan (3/26) and Fazalhaq Farooqi (3/33) in the wickets but India still posted 181/8. The chase was quickly in trouble and Azmatullah Omarzai top scored with 26 as they were all out for 134.

Afghanistan won their first 3 pool matches against New Zealand, Uganda and PNG and they lost to West Indies

David Warner was not out on 53 when play ended in their 28 run DLS win over Bangladesh in their first Super 8 match. Earlier Pat Cummins returned figures of 3/29 and Zampa 2/24 as they restricted Bangladesh to 140/8.

Australia won all 4 of their pool matches, beating England, Scotland, Namibia and Oman
