The first of the semi finals in the Momentum One Day Cup sees the Titans host the WSB Cape Cobras at Supersport Park, Centurion on Wednesday.
Titans:
The Titans finished top of the log at the end of the round robin stage with a record of 6 wins and 4 defeats and they were 5 points clear of their nearest rivals. Despite losing 2 of their first 3 matches they went on to reel off 5 successive wins to forge clear and they had top spot under control well before losing their final 2 matches.
WSB Cape Cobras:
The Cobras took the last of the play off spots after a campaign which saw them win 5 and lose 5 of their matches. They were 8 points adrift of their opponents here in the standings and they are tasked with turning form around with the Titans who thrashed them twice in the round robin.
In the first meeting between the sides at Newlands Aiden Markram crunched 169 of the Titans bat first total of 320/6 and the Cobras came up 83 runs short in the chase.
The return at Centurion saw the Cobras bowled out for just 151 and the Titans chased it down in just 22.1 overs without losing a wicket.

Verdict:
This is a tough test for the Cobras against a Titans side who have a very aggressive batting line up. We side with the Titans to post the highest first 15 over total.
