barmyarmyThe third and final test match between West Indies and England gets under way in Grenada on Thursday and after after the first two matches were drawn a series win is still up for grabs for either side.

The first two test matches have followed a similar pattern with England unable to bowl West Indies out on the final day.

The second test in Barbados was another good contest with England posting 507/9 (Root 153, Stokes 120) and 185/6. West Indies first reply of 411 was underpinned by skipper Brathwaite (160 and Blackwood 102) and in the fourth innings they finished on 135/5 with Man of the Match Brathwaite 56 not out.

The first test was staged in Antigua and saw centuries for England's Bairstow in the first innings and Crawley and Root in the second. Nkrumah Bonner was West Indies first innings centurion and they kept England at bay on Day 5.

This was how the teams lined up in the second test.

West Indies: Kraigg Brathwaite (c), John Campbell, Shamarh Brooks, Nkrumah Bonner, Jermaine Blackwood, Jason Holder, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, Veerasammy Permaul, Jayden Seales

England: Alex Lees, Zak Crawley, Joe Root (c), Daniel Lawrence, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Foakes (wk), Chris Woakes, Matthew Fisher, Jack Leach, Saqib Mahmood

The most recent test match at this venue came against England in April 2015 and England won it by 9 wickets with Joe Root 182 not out in their first innings and Brathwaite scored a ton in West innings second knock. .

The Verdict

Although England have been the more likely (if any) winner by the final day of the first 2 matches there are obvious question marks over their ability to take 20 wickets needed to win a test match.

As far as England's top first innings run scorer market is concerned Joe Root is the undeniable favourite but with Ben Stokes coming at 4 in Barbados and hitting 120 the latters current price does make some appeal.

I would have through Ollie Robinson will return to the England line up and he gets my vote to be the visitors' top 1st innings bowler.

Bets: England top 1st innings run scorer Stokes at 4/1

England top 1st innings bowler Robinson at 3/1
