Goodforthegame Predictions:

Leicester v Chelsea (Saturday 1st February)

Leicester return to league action after missing out on a place in the League Cup final following a midweek defeat at Aston Villa. They won their most recent home game 4-1 against West Ham but with 3 wins and 4 defeats in the last 7 they have been inconsistent of late.

The same can be said of Chelsea to some degree. They are 1 place and 8 points behind Leicester in the standings and could certainly use a positive result to consolidate their top 4 slot. The first meeting ended all square at 1-1 and this could follow suit.

Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Chelsea

Liverpool v Southampton (Saturday 1st February)

Liverpool's win in a catch up game at West Ham in midweek increased their lead at the top of the log to 19 points. They come up against an in form Southampton side here but it's still stretching the imagination to call a surprise. The Saints could be competitive but Liverpool are just relentless.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Southampton

Watford v Everton (Saturday 1st February)

Watford's 6 match unbeaten run ended at Aston Villa last time out and they are 1 of 3 clubs on 23 points, either side of the drop zone. Everton's only league defeat in the last 9 came away to Manchester City, however 4 of those matches finished all square and a share of the spoils could be on the cards again here.

Prediction: Watford 1-1 Everton

Man United v Wolves (Saturday 1st February)

Manchester United put up a gallant show in the League Cup at Man City in midweek but came up short of overturning a 3-1 first leg deficit. With 3 defeats in the last 4 league games they are under pressure to get back on track against a Wolves side who have the same number of points.

The first league meeting this season ended 1-1, an FA Cup tie finished 0-0 and the replay was edged by United. Wolves are no mugs away from home, they have won at Manchester City this season and they might just get the better of United here.

Prediction: Man United 1-2 Wolves

Burnley v Arsenal (Sunday 2nd February)

Burnley have won their last 2 league games to ease any relegation fears. They now take aim at mid table Arsenal who have drawn 5 of their last 7 including each of their last 3. The Gunners away record is decidedly average but there have been signs of improvement of late and they get the vote to come out on top.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Arsenal

Spurs v Manchester City (Sunday 2nd February)

Spurs edged past Norwich to snap a sequence of 4 league games without victory but they remain 6 points behind fourth placed Chelsea. City's chances of catching Liverpool in the title race are as good as dead in the water and that doesn't make calling their remaining league games any easier. If in the mood City would probably win this with something to spare but a chance is taken on a 2-2 draw, the same outcome as when the teams met in Manchester early in the season.

Prediction: Spurs 2-2 Man City
