Football Liverpool120Liverpool v Brighton and Manchester City v Arsenal are the English Premier League matches taking place on Sunday on what is a huge day in the title race.

Liverpool 4/10 Draw 9/2 Brighton 5.75/1 (Sportingbet)

Liverpool bowed out of the FA Cup with a 4-3 defeat at Manchester United last time out but with the EFL Cup already banked and progress in the Europa League they switch focus back to the title race. They are second on the log, behind Arsenal on goal difference and Manchester City are 1 point further back in what looks like a 3 horse race.

A seriously long injury list has eased somewhat with Mo Salah back in action but the team news will still be worth monitoring for updates on a few other first choice players who have been missing recently. Klopp's team have won 11 drawn 3 and have yet to be beaten at home this season with both Manchester clubs and Arsenal the teams to have taken a point from their visits to Anfield.

Brighton's sole focus is no the EPL and qualifying for Europe next season. They finished the previous round in eighth place, 2 points shy of West Ham who are seventh and 5 behind Man United who are sixth. They were 1-0 winners at home to Forest in their most recent league game but they haven;t won back to back EPL matches since September. Brighton lost at Man City 2-1 and Arsenal 2-0 earlier this season.

The Verdict

I'm with Luiz Diaz in the any time goalscorer market. He has been in cracking form of late and with Liverpool likely to create a number of chances hopefully one will fall his way.

Bets: Anytime Goalscorer Luis Diaz at 2.15/1 with BoyleSports

Man City 1.03/1 Draw 2.65/1 Arsenal 5/2 (BoyleSports)

City have progressed in the FA Cup and UCL in recent weeks and after their latest league outing finished in a 1-1 draw at Anfield they now face another huge showdown with a title rival. City have won 10 and drawn 4 of their league games at The Etihad Stadium this season where they have yet to taste defeat. They have suffered 3 league defeats this season, all away from home and 1 of those came at Arsenal, 1-0 in October.

Team news, especially after an international break, will be worth a solid check and defenders Walker, Stones and Akanji all picked up knocks whilst playing for their country. De Bruyne was also nursing injury prior to the internationals and keeper Ederson was also injured in the draw at Liverpool.

Arsenal also have the likes of Saka, Martinelli and Gabriel to check on fitness wise as they go in search of a ninth straight league win. They are also involved in the UCL quarter finals but not the FA Cup so this is their first match since they beat Porto on spot kicks, 1-0 on the night, in the UCL on 12th March. The Gunners recent road trips saw them thrash West Ham (6-0), Burnley (5-0) and Sheffield United (6-0) boosting their goal difference to +46 compared to Liverpool's +39 and City's +35.

The latest title odds from BoyleSports have Man City 1.12/1, Liverpool at 1.88/1 and Arsenal at 2.55/1.

The Verdict

It would appear that Stones and Walker are ruled out for City where as the Arsenal teams news is more touch and go. Arsenal have shortened in the betting a touch over the last couple of days and its not often you see odds against for City to win a home match but this looks a tricky call to me.

A multi goals bet of 2-3 in total is my take on this.

Bets: Multi goals 2-3 at even money with BoyleSports.
