The 2019 Rugby World Cup gets underway in Japan on Friday 20th September and ahead of the opening game we take a look at the latest odds to lift the trophy and provide details of Goodforthegame's extensive coverage.
The Format:
We have 20 nations competing and there are four pools, each comprising of five teams. The top two finishers in each pool will advance to the quarter finals and it's knockout rugby all the way to the final on Saturday 2nd November.

Pool B: New Zealand, South Africa, Italy, Canada, Namibia
Pool C: England, France, Argentina, Tonga, USA
Pool D: Australia, Wales, Fiji, Georgia, Uruguay
Past Winners:
Only four nations have been crowned champions. New Zealand have won three times including the last two editions. Australia and South Africa have two wins against their name and England have one. The bridesmaids have been France who have reached three finals and lost on each occasion.
