We are down to the last eight in the Europa League and we take a look at the betting for Monday's quarter finals including Inter v Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United v FC Copenhagen

On to the matches taking place on Monday.

Inter joined the Europa League after failing to make the Champions League knockout rounds. They won both legs of their Round of 32 clash with Ludogorets to go through 4-1 on aggregate and last week they beat Getafe 2-0 in a single leg Round of 16 tie. In Serie A Inter finished strongly with 6 wins and 2 draws in their last 8 matches but they finished as runners up to Juventus, just 1 point in arrears. With just 36 goals conceded they had the best defensive record in the top flight.

Leverkusen took the same route as Inter to join this competition in the Round of 32. They have subsequently won all their matches to get past Porto (5-2 aggregate) and Rangers (4-1 on aggregate). In the Bundesliga Leverkusen finished fifth, 2 points off a Champions League spot and they also lost the domestic cup final to Bayern Munich (4-2.

Inter are as shade over even money to win in regulation time whist a draw and a Leverksuen win are both trading at around 5/2. A game of 3 goals or more in total is priced at 15/20 and its 13/20 for both sides to find the net in 90 minutes.

Manchester United are the shortest price on the quarter final coupon for their clash with FC Copenhagen. They made short work of a pretty weak group before wide margin wins in the knockout rounds over Club Brugge (6-1 aggregate) and LASK (7-1 on aggregate). United's strong finish to the Premier League saw them break into the top 4 and they will be playing Champions League football next season.

Copenhagen came through a group which included Dinamo Kyiv before a 4-2 aggregate win over Celtic which included a 3-1 victory in Glasgow. Before lockdown they lost the first leg of their Ro16 clash with Basaksehir 1-0 away from home but turned things around with a 3-0 win in the second leg. FC Copenhagen finished a remote second in the Danish domestic league.

United are around 1 / 4 to win in regulation time whist a draw is 19/4 and Copenhagen are around 10/1. A game of 3 goals or more in total is priced at 11/20 and its 21/20 for both sides to find the net in 90 minutes.

Quarter Final Bets

Inter v Leverkusen total match goals 2-3 at 19/20.

Leverkusen matches often lead to goals for both sides but Inter are ultra tight in defence. I still see the scope for goals but 2-3 in total covers a number of outcomes I can see here.

Man United v Copenhagen, United total goals over 2.5 at 21/20

United should have way to much for Copenhagen and although they might encounter some early resistance I can see the English side finding the net at least 3 times.
