I think this tournament is about as wide open as you could get. Alcaraz/Medvedev and Djokovic all have large question marks going into this tournament.
Perusing the draw it looks like Tsitsipas could send his Dad in for the first four rounds and still make the quarters.
A few Outrights
To win from each side of the draw
Medvedev @ 8/1
Rublev @ 44/1
To win their quarter
2nd Quarter Khachanov @ 11/1
3rd Quarter Jarry @ 11/1
Alcaraz to exit in 4th round @ 17/2 (Musetti or Norrie?)
Djokovic to exit 3rd round @ 17/2 (Cecchinato?)

Fucsovics v Grenier
Been a frustrating time for Fucsovics so far. Caught Grenier v Wolf a few weeks ago and feel he has enough game to trouble Marton today.
Grenier + 1.5 sets @ 7/4
McDonald v Korda
Thought this would be Korda's year but the injury in Australia has derailed it. McDonald can be useful on clay and he made the third round here last year
Win McDonald @ 33/20
Two matches which should go the distance
Ofner/Cressy and Kokkinatis/Evans
Over 3.5 sets @ 29/20

My Khachanov outright pick went off at 2/100 today and needed five sets to survive against Lestienne who was 13/1 for this match. My two long matches finish in straight sets.
To win
Musetti/Moutet/Shevchenko @ 2/1
and considering another 3.5 set double on Shelton and Pouille matches but will see how other bets go first.

Pouille to beat Rodionov @1.72
Pouille made a remarkable comeback from alcohol and depression and he was supported by the crowds in the final qualification match against this same opponent, as if it was a Davis Cup match.

Double on the early matches
De Minaur/Nakashima Win @ 5/4
Paire v Norrie
Norrie's serve is just too weak so opponents always have a shot. You never know which Paire will arrive for the match. At his best he can win this.

Nakashima vs Shapovalov
Shapovalov is in poor form, whereas Nakashima had a very good tournament last week in Lyon, where he reached the semifinals.
Davidovich Fokina vs Fils
Fils has just won the title in Lyon on Saturday and now he is playing here with only one day in between.
Davidovich Fokina has had a good season so far, reaching the quarter finals at five tournaments.
He was a finalist in Monte Carlo last year, so he knows his stuff on clay.

I thought Thiem was near 90% when he ran Tsitsipas very close in Madrid at the end of April - even took a punt at 40/1 for this slam. Since then he has been poor especially in the mental department. I think he either wins easy here or suffers a bit of bad luck and exits without a whimper.

Nishioka is out of form. His record since Delray Beach is 2-8. On clay this year he is 2-4.
Wolf is in good form. He reached the quarter finals in Houston, then went three rounds in Rome, where he was beaten by Zverev, and before coming here he went two rounds in Geneva, where he was eliminated by Ruud.
Wolf should be able to take advantage of Nishioka's poor form.

Five of the six early matches today (ex Tsitsipas) could go either way which means I could be playing catch-up in the afternoon again.
Over 3.5 sets double
Schwartzman/Wawrinka @ 13/10
May as well take a stab at two of the longer odds

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina vs Luca Van Assche
Korda was a mystery coming into Roland Garros because of a three-month layoff due to a wrist injury.
However, in the first round he was impressive as he beat Mackenzie McDonald 3-0.
As for Davidovich Fokina, he will have the French crowd against him but he also did on Monday against Arthur Fils and won 3-1.
Fokina should be too good and have too much experience for Van Assche.

Another match where I believe the result is closer then the odds suggest. Hurkacz recently lost to Wolf on clay and struggled past the out of form Goffin in the first round. I did not get to watch any of the Griekspoor v Martinez match but if Griekspoor's ankle is OK this is a runner

Rublev can sometimes drift in a match and Moutet has shown enough this year on clay that he could run close in a few sets. Worth a sniff

Zeppieri v Ruud
Several matches which have looked very straightforward have seen the overwhelming favorite lose a set or struggle. Zeppieri won three in qualifying looks in good nick. Ruud does not have masses of power at his disposal so going with

If the 12 games that he'd win based on your bet are in a 4-6 4-6 4-6 loss, then he'd cover this handicap.

Tsitsipas got past Jiri Vesely in a fourth-set tiebreaker and then crushed Roberto Carballes Baena in straights.
Schwartzman's appearance in the third round is a big surprise. His 2023 record was a disastrous 5-14 heading into Roland Garros. He has not even defeated anyone in the top 20 since April last year, losing 11 consecutive such matches.
Tsitsipas should win this comfortably.
Carlos Alcaraz vs Denis Shapovalov
Alcaraz beat Flabio Cobolli in 3 sets, then Taro Daniel in four, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
He is 32-3 this season with four titles, including three on clay (Buenos Aires, Barcelona, and Madrid).
Shapovalov did well so far here, but Alcaraz is a big step up in competition for him.

Neither of these players has had a tie breaker yet in the tournament. Most sets have been short affairs.
