Super Rugby and Currie Cup Finals 24 June was created by Brent Graham
It was one of those weekends for me

My fancies were

Blues win 15/10
Chiefs -11.5
Cheetahs win 15/10
Sharks -8.5 (would of been best bet so lucky I ran out of time for the newsletter)

I could only watch 2 of those games so bet much bigger on those - I am sure you can guess which 2 games those were

Right it is finals week and here are my projections wit the WSB caps in brackets

Chiefs -3.5 (-1.5) v Crusaders

And the Currie Cup

Cheetahs -10.5 (-9.5) v Pumas

The u20 RWC starts this week and we have a separate thread for that - Click here for the Junior World Cup thread

Have a great week and Happy Fathers day to the old timers on here

Points lines for the finals

Chiefs v Crusaders 50.5

Cheetahs v Pumas 56.5

I would be unders on both of those although I am likely going to focus on match result and handicaps this week

Super Rugby Final Betting Preview

This should be a close one but I am taking Chiefs at 1/1 (21/20 now available) and also like Hanricks Chiefs 1-12 at 17/10

100% a red card, Crusaders should feel hard done by. Officials afraid of the potential backlash of spoiling the final.

Also had some decent money on under 5.5 tries too.

Great final, agree it should have been a red although happy for the referral to save time, TMO or whoever adjudicates got it wrong
Thought O'Keefe was harsh on Chiefs in 1st half but overall can't complain with a Crusaders win - great BMT and my woeful run continues

If the Cheetahs don't arrive I might have to take a break - at least until Monday LOL

That was a close one - I was prepared to accept my fate when De Beer lined up that penalty and I was sure the hammer blow was coming

Must say though I thought the Cheetahs were the better side and how they only won by 8 is beyond me but credit to the Pumas D

No break for me then although looks like our only action this week will be on the Junior Rugby thread
