The Open Championship takes plavce at Royal Liverpool. Rory Mcilroy looks to be favoruite on most books at around 7/1, sure there will be plenty of promotions from the bookies during the week.

All tips are most welcome here

Rightio Chaps. Time to place the disappointments of the cycling behind us and make some money. Mark Twain considered golf A good walk spoiled. But then he was not a betting man. Add the financial interest and it is great.

In no particular order I have taken the following

Win
Hovland @ 25/1
Gooch @ 100/1

e/w to 6
Grace @ 250/1
Ferguson @ 350/1

Top Saffa
Agree with everyone Lawrence @ 6/1

Top LIV
Gooch @ 10/1

Top Senior
Cink @ 9/2 ( 16th and 3rd on his two senior starts )

Top Japanese
Hoshino @ 13/2 ( Matsuyama - like Koepke plays first two rounds with Cantlay. )

Dual Forecasts
Mcilroy/Smith @ 66/1
Mcilroy/Hovland @ 100/1
Mcilroy/Fowler @ 100/1

Straights
Mcilroy/Smith @ 125/1
Mcilroy/Hovland @ 160/1

No rugby this weekend and I have done my absolutes in the TDF so firing into the golf

Betxchange have the top 3 and ties special and I am firing 5 units on

Scheffler at 8/1 - So consistent although not getting over the line that often
Smith at 22/1 - defending champ, recent Liv winner, full of confidence

0.5 u on
Conners 80/1 - like South I just have a feeling about this guy although he owes me money
Harman 150/1 - solid player, gone well in Open of late

1.5 units Harman Top 10 at 9/1

Taken another half uni on Cam Smith at 50/1 - hit it bad yesterday but hung in with some great putting - if he can find some fairways he can get himself back in

Harman 5 clear and I just hope he can hold it together

Can't resist a 2.5u play on Cam Smith top 10 at Sunbet - great eagle to finish yesterday and hoping he finishes this Open like he finished last year

Will probably look for a match bet double later

My Open bets were going down the tubes in round one so took Harman 40/1 e/w to 5 towards the end of round one. This was with Sunbet where I have now racked up an unbelievable 28 consecutive losses of which 9 were odds on. I also hold a solid Bahrain over INEOS tour ticket with Sunbet and today INEOS over turned a 2 min 45 sec team deficit to kill my long term. Statistically Harman has a less than 1 in 30 chance of finishing in the top 5 based on my Sunbet form.
