Arsenal had an active summer transfer window, bringing four new faces to their squad.
Among them are Declan Rice, the most expensive signing of the four, and Kai Havertz.
Palace lost their best attacker, Wilfried Zaha, who left for Galatasaray this summer. Palace were already in the bottom-fifth of xG last season with Zaha, how about now.
Arsenal won both their matches against Crystal Palace last season, and this season Arsenal should only be stronger while Crystal Palace are perhaps weaker.
This is the type of match Arsenal must win if they are to be a title contender this season.
Bet: Arsenal @1.72

Not only did Palace lose Zaha but Olise is also injured. They still have a quality first 11 but have no adequate bench strength. Arsenal should get a win tonight but that odds is a little to low for a decent strike so I am taking a chance with a bet builder at Sportingbet, plus a single goal scorer bet.
David Coote is the ref tonight and he averaged 4 cards per game last season, and under the new rules, dished out 4 cards last weekend as well.
If Palace are to put up some sort of fight than Eze will have to deliver. With no Zaha and Olise his the focal point of this side now and should be at the heart of their attacks. Like Eze, Saka is another young English talent and should have another good game, after his good performance against Forest.
Martinelli enjoys playing against Palace, and scored both times against them last season. So taking a chance he does the same tonight.
Bet Builder:
Arsenal win
Each team to get a card
Eze 1+ shot
Saka 1+ shot
@ 27/10
Martinelli to score anytime - 35/10

Quality write-ups guys. My pennies worth - Arsenal shot out the blocks against Forest but looked pretty ordinary when the match settled down. Palace mustered 24 shots against Sheff Utd and they will be looking to score. An unusual odds-on from me and my normal odds against take.
Arsenal first half corners H/Cap -0.5 @ 15/20
BTTS - Yes and over 2.5 match goals @ 13/10

Sundowns are a perfect 4/4 this season and will walk the league yet again. Besides playing excellent attacking football they are well organized at the back. Sundowns have only conceded twice in the league and have kept three clean sheets in a row. Richards Bay are struggling for goals (like most PSL sides) and I think theres value in Sundowns keeping another clean sheet.
Sundowns win to nil - 13/10

Braga take on Panathinaikos in their 1st playoff leg.
I thought Pana were really poor in their two matches against Marseille in the previous round, and were well lucky in going through. Marseille dominated and underperformed in front of goal, while the refs in both legs had poor days at work.
Braga is another level, especially at home, and Panathinaikos’ luck should run out here.
Braga @1.72 is the obvious bet, but TT o1.5 @1.97 and even Braga -1.5 @3.00 are good options.
About the other games, it’s worth noting that Molde play on artificial grass at home.
GL!

Burnley vs Aston Villa
I posted during the 1st week that Newcastle 3+ offsides against Villa was a good bet but that finished just short at 2, mainly due to Newcastle having a blinder of a game. I watched the markets for the Everton game and I did not expect many offsides. This weekend Villa are away to Burnley and I think its the perfect time to strike with the offsides bet. Burnley at home will play attacking football and will have a proper go at Villa.
Unai Emery has lost Mings to injury, but with Pau Torres in the defense, they have somehow got even better with their high line. They played Hibernian on Wednesday in the Conference League and won 5-0. Hibernian had 1 shot in the game and only 30% possession, but what stood out was their 9 offsides. Villa's high line can be lethal at times and I think they can catch Burnley out on Sunday.
Burnley 3+ offsides - 11/10 (Sunbet)
Burnley 4+ offsides - 23/10 (Sunbet)
Newcastle vs Liverpool
Newcastle will put on a show for their fans again this weekend. Liverpool are still so vulnerable through the midfield and now that Klopp mentioned that Konate could be out, that defense are in trouble without him. If Liverpool play Trent in the inverted role, there is no way either Matip or Gomez can protect both the CB and RB area alone, like how Konate does. Newcastle should feast in that area, and as Chris previewed their should be plenty of goals in the game. Trying a bet builder Sunbet for the game:
Newcastle 2+ goals & 5+ shots on target - 11/10 (Sunbet)

Got a bit caught out last week. Was torn between total shots or goal overs v Man United. Went for the latter, and fell short ( tbf, there were enough chances both end ). Sticking with shots as the main bet this week.
Total shots 28 or more @ 10/11
Total shots 29 or more + over 3.5 goals @ 5/2

Better balanced side today with Rashford in his correct place ie wide. Forest have scored in both matches so nibble on goals. With Rashford mostly on the left and Martial inclined to join him there and Erikson likes feeding that side it could be a busy day for Serge. Attwell not a good card ref so just a few beers
BTTS and over 2.5 match goals @ 11/10
To get a card Yes Aurier @ 4/1

Liverpool over 12.5 shots @ 8/10
A bit insulted by the match odds on this game but think the shots line is 2-3 under. Happy to take on the bookies here.

I already have one bet builder posted for this game, but after seeing Matip in the line up and not Konate, I have to try one more. Using some of the Burnley offsides profits into:
Newcastle 2+ goals
Liverpool 2+ goals
Liverpool 13+ shots
10+ combined shots on target in the match
52/10 (Sunbet)

Sadly Liverpool shots dead with the red card. Dreadful display from Klopp and the team.

French Ligue 1:
OGC Nice at 1.95 vs Lyon.
Lyon is spiralling out of control, nothing is going correctly in the club, they have a few key players away.
Nice is with a new coach, they’re still very perfectible, but should have enough to beat this poor Lyon outfit.
GL to you all!
