As a bettor one of the best sports to bet on is the NFL, as there are hundreds of valuable betting markets.
The NFL 2023 season starts tonight with the reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs playing at home against the Detroit Lions (02:20am SA time).
Much has been made about the Lions for this season and unlike previous seasons where they have struggled and have not made the playoffs they are one of the favourites to reach the playoffs this season.
The Chiefs are a powerhouse of a team, and probably will Win the AFC Conference yet again, after all they have won 2 of the last 3 Superbowls. Their home stadium, Arrowhead is a fortress and away teams don't really manage to win. Over the past 3 season, Chiefs have only lost 2 games at home, both to the Bills (their AFC rivals) who no disrespect to the Lions, are a much better team.
Chiefs could be without their star TE Travis Kelce tonight and that's probably why the line is so close (-4.5 spread), but they still have arguably the best active Quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. I think it will be a close game, but you have to trust the Chiefs at home, especially for the first game of the season.
Shop around and you will find around 5/10 Moneyline on the Chiefs and its a good bet to add to any Rugby multiples you may have for this weekend.
