Not a great weekend for me and confidence is a bit low at the moment

That being said we fight on and below my handicap projections for this weekend (Super Rugby, URC to follow)

Super Rugby Projections

Crusaders -22.5 v Moana Pasifika, both teams can still qualify but need the Drua (8th) to lose, also Force in 9th
Waratahs +6.5 v Reds, watch Reds team news they are 5th and cannot climb or go down so may rest players
Drua -8.5 v Rebels, Drua need to win to qualify, Rebels 7th are qualified and best they can do is 6th
Hurricanes -18.5 v Highlanders, Canes level with top placed Blues, Landers cannot go higher than current 6th place
Blues -9.5 v Chiefs, Blues will know what they need to finish top, Chiefs will finish 4th so watch team news
Force +7.5 v Brumbies, Force may be gone if Drua win, Brumbies could finish 1st or 2nd depending on other results

It is also the final weekend of URC regular season action

Handicap projections below:

Leinster -14.5 v Connacht, tough to cap, Leinster may rest players after Champs Cup loss, Connacht can mathematically qualify
Warriors -26.5 v Zebre, Warriors 4th could in theory top the log and should chase bonus point win
Stormers -9.5 v Lions, Stormers must win to retain 5th spot, Lions need to win to qualify, tricky one
Benetton -4.5 v Edinburgh, 8th v 7th and they level on points, loser could be overtaken by Lions or Connacht
Scarlets -6.5 v Dragons, not even sure parents of the players will watch this one
Sharks +12.5 v Bulls, Bulls likely to need win to ensure 2nd and they could finish 1st, Sharks attitude after Challenge win an unknown
Munster -12.5 v Ulster, a win ensures Munster top spot, Ulster could finish anywhere from 5th to 8th
Cardiff -4.5 v Ospreys, I don't have any feel for this

A quiet week so far with almost no line movement on either Super Rugby or URC, just a point on a few games but nothing worth mentioning.

I'm interested in the Bulls minus, but have not pulled the trigger yet. Sharks surely rest players after Challenge Cup final and Bulls have lots to play for. Even though it's in Durban, I see the Bulls winning easily here. Can easily be by 20 plus with the motivation for Bulls and nothing to play for for Sharks.

Was hoping for a bigger plus on the Lions, but might still take the plus there

Completely agree on this one. I think we could see a sharks performance similar to those in the first half of the season. Mentally I think they could be on the beach/looking ahead to Boks camp

Hurricanes -19.5 @1.88 2u

Highlanders nothing to play for and some key absences in the backline (Fakatava even on the bench). Hurricanes full strength, Aumua back, strong bench.
Hurricanes o39.5 for 2u as well

Have taken under 58.5 total points at 0.89/1 in the Sharks vs Bulls game. Expect Bulls to hammer the Sharks, but don't expect Sharks to contribute to the scoring. Good conditions expected for Durban, but 58.5 just feels to high for a game at the coast in South Africa.

Will be interested in unders on Sharks points aswell, when that comes out.

Thanks Hanrick, always like unders in Durban, especially with this Sharks 2nd team.

Just a general question. With the Sharks qualifying for Champions Cup, does that mean we will lose the Lions if they come Top 8? Or has the top 8 sides in URC criteria fallen away? Sorry was just thinking that would be harsh for the Lions.

Yup. Lions either need a bonus point win or to win the URC to qualify for the Champions Cup.

Tahs/Red over 55.5
With not a lot on the line might get a little loose from both sides.

Sharks have named a strong team and Newsletter bet could be in trouble

There is still some +15.5 so I could lessen exposure but nah I will let it ride and hope motivation is the difference

Force and Brumbies both have nothing to play for but Brumbies one eye on next week perhaps and have pressed my Force win at 7/4

Toulouse v La Rochelle

La Rochelle Over 21.5pts - Evens at Boylesports
(The line is 24.5pts - 10/11 at Bet 365)

Last dance for La Rochelle who travel fully loaded to hungover Toulouse. Home side have just one starter (Cros) from the EC final last wkend although still a decent side with a strong bench.

I'll also play La Rochelle +8pts @ 7/10 and double it with a home win for Toulon in their match v Clermont

Like the thinking Laraxwell and not their usual home ground this weekend for Toulouse, at the football /other city stadium.

La Rochelle over 10.5 1st half pts @ evens (PP)
