But as always with matchplay events I try too have some fun,so here's the longer ones I think might get far:
Casey - 20/1
Leishman - 45/1
Cantlay - 55/1
Oosthuizen - 66/1
And some I think could upset their groups:
Group 1 - Hadwin @ 3.2
Group 7 - Schauffele @ 2.5
Group 13 - Finau @ 2.75
Should be some great viewing.

For me this makes the weakest group Spieth/Matsuyama followed by the Thomas/Garcia group. So two players from each
Win only
Cantlay @ 40/1
Schauffele @ 50/1
Na @ 80/1
Si Woo Kim @ 150/1
One group pick
Group 6 Harman @ 11/4

Hey azzman. Nice to hear you're enjoying golf. Only started playing in my mid twenties, but is now a complete nut.
Do you mean to ask how match play golf works?
2 players play head to head. Fewest strokes on a hole, wins the hole, thus going "one up". This continues till one player can no longer win. Example: player one is "three up" with two holes to play,so he is the winner. If the game is still square after 18 holes,it can either be a tie or sudden death over extra holes, depending on the tournament.
Most tournaments will be a single knockout format,or like the Dell,a group stage first with the winners going on to the knockout rounds.
Hope that is what you wanted and keep swinging away.

Seems the top of the draw looks the easiest, I see DJ getting through and meeting either Berger/Oosthuisen in the QF's. Winner there to meet Noren or Reid, assuming Speith gets knocked out in the groups by Charl or Reid of course .
JT should get through to meet either Casey/Garcia in the QF's which I think he should win. Could be a Rahm/Mcilroy QF in the other setting up a huge SF there.
Therefore, my picks: Top half: DJ @ 8-1 and value in Top half :Noren @ 40-1; Reid @30-1: Louis @66-1
Bottom half: JT @10-1 : Mcilroy @8-1. Value Casey @22-1.
Good luck.

Just want to point out something to you.
I backed Ian Poulter at 100/1 to win the tournament.
He is currently playing some excellent golf and is a specialist at this form of play.
He is still around 28/1 so maybe if you interested put a unit or two on him. Just thought id share my thoughts..

When does the 2 semi final winners play each other? Or how do they determine the winner?
