Cycling w/c 16th April

This week sees cycling's fourth monument Liege-Bastogne-Liege on Sunday. Before then we have La Fleche Wallonne on Wednesday with the iconic Muur de Huy. This race is owned by Val Verde who has won the last four editions. At 6/10 not worth my money so looking at the other two podium places.

Run since 1892 - 258km scattered with short,steep climbs - the last one topping out 5.5km from the finish. Even the finish is tough - the last 1.5km at 5%. A race for the strong men of cycling and the monument most suited to the climbers.
