Anyone know if any bookies have priced up on the 3 pacific nations cup games this weekend?

Fiji v Japan, Tonga v Samoa, USA v Canada

Maybe a broader question is - what bookies usually provide the best coverage on international rugby particularly involving tier 2 nations?

NZ TAB has Samoa -2.5 v Tonga and Fiji -13.5 v Japan

Have taken some Samoa -2.5.
Have both named pretty strong sides, especially in the forwards, but Samoa at home and Tonga have very weak halfback-first five combination - Sami Fisilau (Jersey Reds) and James Faiva (SilverStorm El Salvador)

Fiji opened at -17.5 down to -6.5

Have taken Fiji-Fiji halftime-full time @$1.83

looks like strong lineup named, especially Nakarawa and Mata back, and they started strong in both games v Māori.

Japan first game so could be rusty. Most players are from Sunwolves and many didn’t get much game time this year...

Mapimpi anytime try at 7/2 with Sporting bet is a very strong selection for me. Suspect I'd have taken the next best 3/1 that's available in a couple of places.

Spread firms pitching him as no more than a 5/2 shot, Has 4 tries (including a brace) in his 5 starts so far. Even allowing for the standard of tomorrow's opposition I think this is a very good bet.

I likes the Wallabies team this weekend. After wathing last year's game in Australia again ,I pick up how lucky the Argies were. And the Wallabies show that in their return ficture. My pick -5,5 Wallabies . I also going for the Stormers -8,5 . and sormers ht -6,5.
AB's and Boks? Will it really be a closed game? The AB has request the NZRU to bring this test back to Wellington origanally schedule for Auckland. This smake me scared. And they select a lostrio that can run and run. A big surprise is awaiting.for the Boks. AB win with 11 - 20

Boys let me be upfront I had no bet on the Lions game so this is no ARM statement. One thing I will say is listening to the massacre that was going to happen at Newlands today, I expected 100 points on the board at least by this mighty Province 15.

Oracle you off the hook with your Jaguares to beat the Crusaders call - here's one better. You at least had an SAB excuse you seemed very disturbed when you made your call.

Province jou lekker ding lmfao.

21-7 Up with a few minutes to play in the 1st half... Then 28-20 and first a 5m scrum in the shadow of the posts followed by a 5m lineout a few moments later and you SOMEHOW not only fail to win but manage to lose the game. (Throw in Scarra's shitty grubber as well as Notshe not getting a final pass away).
What an absolute cock-up!

In fairness it was the "perfect" end to a dismal betting weekend for me. The Cheetahs I got completely wrong but if given -9.5 for Province vs Lions tomorrow I'll jump at it again. Can't comprehend what or how things went wrong for Province today but whilst I put my hand up and acknowledge a POOOR play on the Groquas I still feel WP was the right way to go.

Please relax guys.

I was not responding to critism or anything - just merely putting my hand up and admitting what I got wrong (Cheetahs) and what I believe was just one of those beautifully unpredictable things of sport (Lions).

Thanks for the pat on the back Hanrick and really no shots meant at you Cat. I realise the timing looks strange but I would have posted my previous post regardless of any comments made on here beforehand.

I hope some of the others had a better betting weekend than me. Personally I havent really felt at ease with rugby punting since Super Rugby so I will keep my stakes very low (taking a complete break is not an option!) in CC and RC going forward to ensure I am fresh and raring to go for RWC!
