Don't see them going for 3-pointers when offered.
now 6/10, hopefully good sign.
Small interest:
MoM BenSmith 16/1
Last score = unconverted home try @ 5/1 (hopefully NZ throw it to Read to try convert).
great result but how was Ben Smith NOT man of match? Hmmm.
Roll on tomorrow. Yet to place a bet but leaning SA the closer we get...

Have to agree South, veteran deserved MOM. If third try had not been disallowed it was a given. Would also put Aaron smith ahead of Brodie. Nugget was everywhere.

In fact the oppposite: "In recognition of how tight the contest could be – England are favourites but the Springboks have the firepower to cause mayhem up front and in midfield – Farrell was on Friday practising drop goals under the guidance of Jonny Wilkinson".
Farrell kicking with Jonny W is now on Youtube. Eddie must have released it as part of his disinformation campaign. Farrell appears to be kicking well!

South Africa (7.5)
Points Start (a)
England v South Africa @ 1.70
One converted try seems too much in a RWC final. Bookies have the line @ -6.5 and algorithms have England -3.5
The channel 10-12 game plan that worked against NZ will not work against Boks. It is the Boks that will attack the 12 channel. Going to be a tough day at the office for Owen Farrell. Believe Boks back row will better the so called kamikaze boys.
AB's could not duplicate Ireland game and England will not duplicate AB game.
Small bet BOKS -.5 @ $3
Bet Drop goal in gamel @ $2.60
Small Bet Peter Steph du Toit MOM @ $19
Cannot have England beat all four Rugby Championship Teams (A Grand Slam) in a RWC.
GO THE BOKS.

Thoroughly enjoyed profitable World Cup, thanks for all the previews, YouTube shows, forum posts and everything else. And I feel this tournament took Brent, Chris and GFTG team to a new level. Hope things continue to prosper from here lads.
Bokke - damn we are proud of you boys.

I ditto everything that South says here, except profitable - it's been an awesome tournament and you guys have been fantastic.
Me as a punter ? Blegh
In Mitre 10 - I was 1st in 5 of 7 pools I played.
RWC - I was 1st in 6 of 10 pools I played, and 4th in Oracle's pool (Lucky Mike).
Punting-wise - My losses were over 50% of my bets, which could have been a nice holiday somewhere .
Conclusion: I'm a properly crap punter, despite all you guy's advice.
So I'm gonna reduce my bets to R10 punts from now on, and try to work out a better system
Thanks again everyone, bring-on the Super Rugby, I can't wait.
Bokke - 1st in the world again and Champions for the next 4 years - yahoooo
Cheers Guys

Betting against Alan Solomons (born 1950, Uitenhage, SA) Director of Rugby at Worcester Warriors, as much as anything else. At 69 he is well past retirement. Modern game is too different. Would like to bet on him quitting/ being fired before seasons end. Nothing in his coaching record indicates he can turn this team around. Cheers 3P

Hi 2P, Apprenticeship for my whole life But yeah, you're right. Can't run with the big dogs and piddle with the puppies: big boy pants
Afraid you're wrong about Alan Solomons though. They breed 'em big 'n tuff in the Eastern Cape - nowhere more so than in Uitenhage, where they teach them to play rugby before they can read and write. Some of them don't even bother with reading and stuff..
I'm in Premiership Superbru but missed joining Pro14, and will continue to be advised by you fundi's - just with reduced wagers till we get to Super Rugby again. I'm fairly drooling for it.
Thanks again for all the tips Couch, Hanrick, Oracle, you, Brent and the rest.
Good days to you all.
