I see TdG is in the field and he will get my backing over the 2 lumpy stages even though you very seldom get breaks staying in these 5 stage races.

Was perusing some odds while watching Erik screw up in San Francisco and noticed the 2016 winner on offer at 9/2 for podium. Arnaud Demare creamed some of the best sprinters on the planet two days ago which means he is carrying form so I believe there is value in spades at those podium odds.

305 km in abnormal heat with the dinky Poggio at the end. Hot weather cyclist who can do long distances - only one name pops up Ewan. Three for me
