All Racing Tips w/c 5th October

I like Fighter in the first today at Durbanville. Took some at 4/1 earlier today, could not understand why it was not the favourite. I see it has subsequently shortened and is the current favourite at 2.2/1. Has rivals beaten by lengths on previous formlines, runs well rested.

Thanks EN, I've lumpe on Alpha Pappa here in Race 1. Got some 7/2 , race is open though , a few have blinkers on for the first time. Fighter bled last time which worries me.

Race 2.
Everglow my narrow first choice at 14/1, also Cut Glass , though drawn ugly at 12/1.

Race 3.
Money for Look for Hounds, blinkers on . Should be right there 9/2. Preference for Mach 4 at 5/1.

Race 4.
Somerset Maughan looks tough to beat and is a confident selection at 17/10.

Race 5.
Open race this, Alsflaminbeauty is a narrow first selection at 7/1. Next best is veronica mars 3/1.

Race 6.
Another tricky race , gonna stick to places Power Grid at 15/10.

Cache gets the 4kg claimer , good eachway value 12/1 and 5/2 a place.

Race 2.
Backed Banzai Pipeline last time and will follow again today at 7/2.

Race 3.
fav looks tough to beat , going to weigh heavily on places here in Catalyst at 22/10

Race 4.
Ruby Slippers 4/1 a narrow first selection ahead of fav Zagara 15/10.

Race 5.
Another Lyle H horse in Perfectly Putt at 7/1.

Race 6.
Giving Linnear the know with the 4kg cliamer on board , won really well last time out 22/10. Georgina Rose the danger 2/1.

Race 7.
Randolph hasn't had a winner in ages , will tentaively tip Royal View here at 7/1.

Race 8.
Going to side with the recent maiden winner Lord Wylie at 6/1.

Had my bets down as soon as the markets opened for this meeting on Monday.

Very confident double r2 Sea Ways x r3 Only The Brave. Got the pair at 1.4 and 3.3 respectively, currently shortened to 0.8 and 1.7, so no real value at current odds.

Sea Ways should walk this in, and Khumalo on the inside draw on OTB will be hard to catch.

My roughie for the day Burnt Jasper r9 at 9/1.

Nice to see the confidence EN, will follow . Need an ambulance after yesterday at Greyville LOL.

Some nice racing today from Turffontein.

Race 1 - Bold Allure @ 7/1
Well drawn and gets stable jock up. Yes has to find some I think to beat the fav but stable comments said come on so hoping for a good improvement. Also like the Willow Magics.

Race 2 - Bitter Wind @ 12/1
Malvern worthy fav but always seems to find 1 better. Bit of a concern is the drift in the market, but I was really impressed on Bitter Winds 2nd run back behind Astral Plane and Let there be Light. Went to the front and lost by length to 2 above average horses I think.

Race 5 - Odd Rob @ 8/1
Some really top sorts and the up and coming star Barak. On a line through Gold Griffin, Odd Rob should be close to Barak the fav. Drawn wide but last run also drawn wide and ran well into 2nd behind more than decent Dance Class.

Race 6 - Var Aglow @ 7/1
Seems to hold the field with the exception of the 2 youngsters and fav's, but both of them carrying quiet heavily weight and Var Aglow gets top Jock up.

Race 8 - Astrix @ 4/1
Last win was impressive and run behind Ronnies Candy over course and distance impressive.

Race 9 - Samosonic @ 9/2
I really like this one and think could be a more than decent sort. Maiden win was franked on Thursday and with form Jock up could be the right one.

Race 2.
Malvern has strong formlines , the one to beat 13/10, Aryaam debutante and drawn well, could be anything but will is my first choice at 9/2.

Race 3.
I like Baymax here , Peter stable in and out at the moment , moderate debut last time but there was huge scope for improvement and it's been supported , now 9/2.

Race 4.
F Squadron was the only trier behind the runway Kool Baikel last time, the one to beat for sure. Temple of Reason is my huge lurker , weighing places heavily 7/2 first 4. Gonna also include Wolfs Wolrd, excuses in 2 races so far and like this breeding , 11/2.

Race 5.
Barak keeps plugging away and is still improving , Shenanigans is my first choice 10/1 , next best Sunshine Silk at 8/1.

Race 6.
Nice sprint here and leaning towards Var Aglow narrowly 7/1. Another huge roughie in Golden Pheasant at 7/1 a place .

Race 7.
Anoter competitive race , Tahitian Orana in good form but giving weight all around now and will oppose, Lily Blue is a prolific winner from Zim and shouldn't be ignored . First choice Elusive Force 9/2 from Castellano 11/2.

Race 8.
narrowly first choice is Fired Up at 7/1 and KT's Astrix now 5/2.

Race 9.
Uulate most impressive and going for 4 in a row. Will oppose as this is tough , Skiminac 16/1 and 7/2 a place , also like Prospector 9/2.

R7 Destinys Game 14/1 ew. Price drifted a bit but think the running style from off pace when usually slow away suits Lerena perfectly.

R8 Green Haze 10/1 ew. Classy sort and nothing went his way last time out, troubles at start, not perservered with in latter stages. Should go better today after short break.

R9 looking for an upset, Rooi Tom @ 18/1 ew. 4kg claim will help and for an appie he has a good strike rate for yard.
