Six Nations Week 1, Pro 14, Premiership + other rugby 5-7 Feb was created by Brent Graham
Local rugby ended for a while with the Currie Cup Final and it was my best weekend in some time and 3rd profitable Currie Cup week in a row ensuring I will remember the tournament with some fondness at least
A highly successful weekend for the Newsletter plays with big strikes on u4.5 tries and Sharks o16.5 points arriving and the 4/1 value play they would score the same amount of tries also paid out - if you are new to our site here is an example of our weekly mailer and you can click here to sign up
Onto the week ahead and it is going to be a cracker with the 6 Nations getting going. Thursday nights rugby betting show THE HANDICAP will be live at 21h00 and will focus on the week 1 fixtures and the outright markets as well as some Pro 14 and Premiership
Here are the current handicaps
Italy +20.5 v France
England -15.5 v Scotland
Wales +2.5 v Ireland

a market i enjoy playing, came v close last season with Ntamack at a big price -

Hi everyone, great to find a place to chat rugby bets. From UK but mainly focus on Internationals, Super rugby and NRL. Enjoyed reading your posts and hope we can unearth some winners together.
Absolutely convinced Wales will continue to be dreadful, they are fortunate Italy in the competition, 2.75 to finish 5th looks solid.
Highest scoring match over 73.5 points 1.83, happened 5 of last 6 years (not last year)
Due to being based in England, there are doubts whether Louis Rees-Zammit will be able to play every game but even if he doesn't 6.5 or so about top Wales try scorer looks an ew bet to nothing.
Probably prudent to wait to see the squad but if Paolo Odogwu gets on the bench first game and then scramble to get the price, but could get a big run for your money top try at 51.0 (81.0 for those that can at Betfred) if it looks like he's going to feature heavily.

Quins in red hot form and have all their internationals, while bath are littered with injuries and are missing big boys to England, wales and Scotland.

Ireland haven't hit straps under Andy Farrell. People feel he just isn't Head Coach material.
Re the -2pt handicap, this isn't Irish provinces v Welsh regions. We struggle adapting decent club form onto international stage. I don't see that changing with current coaching ticket.
Hopefully new coach Paul O Connell will have an immediate impact on our lineout and maul - may be worth punting some tries from this area

England to win the 6N and Lowe to be top try scorer is 28/1
Ireland to finish 4th assumes we lose in Scotland. We may do so, but we might also beat France at home.
Player of the tournament. Scotland won't give Russell the ride he gets at Racing. If he continues recent form, then hard to look beyond Maro Itoje at 10/1

Connacht need a win at Dragons tmrow night. They'll be pissed with loss at home to Ospreys. Both sides missing players gone to International camp but Carty and Caolin Blade at 9 are fine set of half backs. Andy Friend has just had contract renewed so some good vibes to take on the road.
Also think SOAP is bang on with Harlequins bet.
Bath are showing an awful lot of faith in Stuart Hooper

Picked the same two swing matches as I did on that Ireland 4th place. Just feel that the French are adding steel to their flair and I think the 7/2 is pretty generous. Thanks for the thoughts.

I am here with you Chiefie, I just feel this year France will take it.They have played the best rugby last season and they play with flair and purpose. For me France to WIN the 6N.

Bristol v Sale, over 44.5 points.

@Vann -you might be interested in the 5/1 Betfair are offering for Scotland to finish top 3 and Wales to finish bottom 3

I’m on Italy-France over 49.5. The weather in Rome should be reasonable, and Matthew Carley is one of the biggest overs refs in Europe

In the unlikely event that I make anything on my six nations long terms the chances are I may wish to share them with you ( for eg Are you aware that Hales @ 14/1 leads the runs board in the BBL with one match to go ). I refuse to join those after timing wankers so here are the out rights

Over 49.5 Saitns v Wasps.
Was lower earlier but this line is fine imo.
Was priced up as wet match but its dry. Given its dry, the total pts for this match really should begin with a 5.

My fancies today ,
Managed to get plus 17.t Scots a week ago, got unders 44.5 last night and will include under 5.5 tries in the Eng game.
Before that will take Italy plus 12.5 ht with Holly.
I missed the Quinns early calls and have missed the boat for now , will wait and decide on that one. Prefer Leicester slightly against Worcester but two bad teams , at this stage and looking at it again I feel Worcester might be worth a small bet at the best plus 0f 9.5.

Great call South especially given how low scoring the game was
Delon I also battle with weather sites - I think Hanrick uses and is happy with Wund Guru

For the weather app I use YR.no and I find it is normally accurate to within an hour.

I'm having a minor disagreement with myself and appear to be swimming against the stream.... I'll be on the best plus Wales .

Have ended up with a mix of over 39.5 and 38.5 in Cardiff. I think this cut is too low. Will get egg ready for face if I’ve misread.
