6 Nations takes a break this weekend but another hectic schedule ahead with Super Rugby AO and AU

Early Betting

Chiefs -2.5 v Highlanders
Crusaders -10.5 v Hurricanes

Waratahs +1.5 v W Force
Brumbies v Rebels to follow - I reckon Brumbies will be around -12.5
Rebels +13.5 v Brumbies (Supersport showed Brumbies at home but Rebels host - early WSB line)

Edit 2: Ok so turns out the Brumbies are hosting the Rebels due to Covid

Overall a decent weekend for me with the Blues delivering the Best Bet for he Friday newsletter

Fancy both minuses in SR NZ.

Force to beat Tahs and Rebels +12.5

Six Nations wise: I like England to beat France and Ireland to beat Scotland

I know Highlanders let me and a number of other punters down on weekend but i'll give them another chance.

Chiefs 1st game up, could be cold, new coach,
No fans allowed, no home advantage, Highlanders don't need to fly in/out on same day like last season.

Highlanders +3.5 @ 17/20

Agree and have taken the same bet @ 1.91

Should be a choice game in my view.

Admittedly not a huge data set, but teams with the bye in round 1 in SR Aotearoa/Australia are 3-0 covering the pre-match line. I think being able to watch your opponent and get intel on them in round 1 outweighs any “coming in cold” effect. People thought the Reds were going to smash the Rebels, but the Rebels did their homework and had a game plan that almost came off.

That said, -3.5 still seems a lot to lay with the Chiefs, I’ll have to have more of a think about it.

Hurricanes as usual looked world beaters in very short bursts but overall fairly poor. They won’t be any match for the Crusaders. Expected higher than -10, confident bet.

Back for another weekend of rugby punishment.
Have gone with the following acca:
London Irish +8.5
Sale Sharks win
Bristol win
Munster win
Glasgow win
Ospreys win
Highlanders +6.5
Crusaders win
@8.82-1

Not touching the Aussie rugby, shouldn’t even be classified as “super” IMO, and too much of a lottery.

Two I do fancy outright are London Irish for the win, along with the Highlanders.

Good luck All - especially Coil, we need it brother.

Moderate play on Connacht +12.5 @ 1.91 v Munster

Still an (extreme) outside chance of topping the pool.
Think it's a bit too much for an interpro derby.

Leaning Highlanders but expecting it to be really tight and the 7 or less winning margin for either side looks decent value

I’m on Chiefs over 24.5 team total. Good weather, the Chiefs have cleared this total in their last 6 against the Highlanders, and they’ve got the best goal kicker in NZ in Bryn Gatland

Waratahs +3.5 their back line is much better than Force. Playing at home you expect a reaction. Pretty confident they will win here if not I end up with egg on my face.

shot Brent, and well done Hanrick, TOS and all others on Highlanders punts. Glad an early view in week worked out this time!

and Brent - i watched the recorded show very late last night, when you said Force 16/1 outright for tournament i literally expected Mrs Graham to pop into camera and throw some water in your face to snap you out of a trance. I was shook!

But they did the job this am, great shout on the Force best bet. :beer

Best Friday in a verrry long time!

Highlanders on the board delivers as well as Force -2.5 (no idea how we escaped with that one). The Fakatava score was a bonus and Nareki's hat-trick gets the top tournament tryscorer play up and running as well.

My best bet of the weekend now rides on Saders to deliver -6.5. Nothing major for me on the Brums.

May the forum keep profiting for the rest of the weekend. Enjoy sticking it to the bookies for the rest of the weekend everyone!

Has to be that Brumbies points line. Did contemplate the 2nd half cap as alternative due to weak Rebels bench, but points just keeps it simple -

Ok, a good Friday it was for most, lets hope to continue the run.

On a small bet unders in canberra but only an interest and see a red card has just been awarded ...

Wasps / Gloucester ... has gone from plus 5.5 to 6.5 .. looking for plus 7.5 but happy with the plus here . Gloucester finding form , Wasps still looking shaky though this will be close .

Worcester / Bristol ... historically high scoring ...but Worcester playing better at home at the moment and better defense . 47.5 is the current line and will keep the powder dry for now.

Bath/Exeter .. slightly against the grain but like the changes to Bath and think a bounce back to form is near .. plus 8.5 .

In Pro 14 like the look of Glasgow minus 4.5 .

To be fair Bristol been shit for about a month now..really need Randall and Sami back and Earl.

That kid at 10 for previous week is shit, he isnt a 10 at all.

Anyway, over 42.5 Toulon v Racing tonight....

over 49.5 Canes v Crusaders too.

Toulon v racing....stats dont make sense but all the big boys are back for both sides, should not lack attacking flair and I thought Canes cant defend.....i had it down for 50odd anyway so i will happily take 49.5
