Ok so that was a strange weekend for me - the Newsletter best bet Waratahs o19.5 cruised in and I nailed 3 of the 4 previews (missing that game where I went for the +8.5) but somehow found a way to lose on the weekend. Not too much damage though more a feeling that it should have been a great weekend.

By the way to make sure you get our weekly newsletter sign up now at this link betting mailer bit.ly/bettingmail - everyone who is anyone in sports betting is on it

So much rugby this week starting with Varsity Cup tomorrow and Tuesday then Super Rugby Aotearoa, The Rainbow Cup, the Heineken Champions Cup semi-finals, Super Rugby AU playoffs and even some Varsity Shield on Sunday for those chasing

My Super Rugby projected handicaps

Hurricanes -6.5 v Highlanders
Blues -4.5 v Chiefs (interesting this one as I understand Chiefs have qualified and Blues cannot due to Chiefs having more wins)
Brumbies -14.5 v Force (playoff)

HCC semi's current handicaps at WSB

La Rochelle +6.5 v Leinster
Toulouse -10.5 v Bordeaux

Going Big on Blues -5.5, Grand Final is the week after and Crusaders are on a Bye. Chiefs have played the past 3 week ends, they will rest key players as nothing to play for. Then Blues are in general good on that type of nothing to play for match, should be a good entertaining running rugby. If Chiefs is resting players H will drop around 10+ quickly so locking a lot of -5.5 at the moment

Agree with CL Rugby on the Blues this weekend - opening caps at WSB in brackets to the right of my projections

4 point difference in the Hurricanes game but thinking I may have got that one a bit wrong

Hurricanes -6.5 v Highlanders (-2.5)
Blues -4.5 v Chiefs (-5.5)
Brumbies -14.5 v Force (-13.5)

Wits -14 v madibaz at 9/10 in varsity cup

Wits need win badly and have gone with a semi strong team, while madibaz have completely rotated and are clearly targeting the next match.

I took Blues -5 also, but have just taken some Chiefs +12.5, hoping for a middle

McMillan will certainly rest a few, but wouldn't surprise if the Blues did too.
Coupled with their injuries, lack of leadership and poor recent form - I find it hard to see them running away with it

A few of the Varsity Cup lines look out.

CUT +27.5 looks like a big overreaction

UWC win @ 31/20 looks good value

Shimlas -5.5 should cruise in?

+16.5 here now I will cover a bit and hope for a 6 - 16 victory margin which is a decent gap.

Taking Canes on Board as well Ioane ruled out.

Hope to get back on the show one day!

Hi all. Long time follower but first time poster.
Can anyone help? Is it a mugs bet, can’t find rules.
WSB were offering a market I have not seen before. Bulls game vs Lions.
Now I can’t find it. Something to do with passes. Morne Steyn vs ..
Excuse the lack of detail, but it has now disappeared.

I saw that but also wasn't sure what it was, believe it was live on Facebook and related to their sponsorship of the Blue Bulls - also curious

The Loftus Versfeld pitch will surely still be heavy after last night’s rain seen in the Varsity Cup match. I took under 7.5 tries @ 7/10

Major League

NOLA Gold vs Toronto Arrows

The team from Toronto has won two in a row and are coming from a big win away in New York, 53-12.
They have several Argentinian internationals in their squad, which makes a big difference in their league. NOLA doesn't have players of similar calibre, so Toronto should win this comfortably.
Two weeks ago Toronto beat Seattle 52-7. They have scored the biggest number of points in their conference.

Bet 1: Toronto -4.5 @1.81, sportsbet.com.au
Bet 2: Team Total points - Toronto over 32.5 @1.80, bet365
