Getting caned on the stages. The Bardet win carried half my original out right stake but its not going to cover these stage losses.
We get the whole stage today so gives us a reasonable shot at picking someone in-play. Up front going with

Strange Vuelta for me as have not had time to get involved in match bets and just been firing a few stage bets - luckily I hit Aranburu top 3 in stage 1 as that has largely carried me.
Started with R1000 abd balance now R805 (only other bet was on Bahrain team comp and while not certs hopefully that will mean an overall profit
It is now time to roll the dice

This year's Vuelta slightly disappointing and I finally worked out why. We got full stage coverage in the TdF and Giro and now these last 50km bits just don't work. Makes a big difference on the punting side as you often get a sense of who feels good and who does not from the early part of stages.
Turning into an expensive tour for me. Need the white jersey to crash into the green jersey today to promote my two second places in order to show a profit.

What an absolute cracker of a final stage. Got home to see the carnage and ended up whatching the end of the stage above tuning over to my beloved Sharks in the Currie Cup Semi!
Followed with a little nibble on Mader for white so today was an unexpected little bonus on that front as well. Jeez its going to be a long wait till the Giro from here.

Roglic different class
Final tally for me R455 profit at Sunbet where I deposited the R1000 and R100 profit on Bahrain so overall R1455 up betting smaller than normal but really enjoying the racing
