World Championship Men - ITT
We have 43km today virtually flat on decent sized roads. Good for the power riders.
At the top of the boards are Ganna, Kung and Evenepoel. If you have a favorite dart pick one of these. I'm going with Kung on the basis that he won the European ITT recently against most of this field. My longer odds look is Pogacar. At the TdF he won the ITT over 27km on stage 5 ie before most riders were tired. There were a few lumps but over the last third it was a power course and he produced the best split. Just hope his mind is in the right place and not below waist level as a result of his recent engagement :silly:

Win
Kung @ 3/1
e/w
Pogacar @ 66/1 (Podium is 10/1)

Don't usually post my other cycle race bets but as we have a thread and it will be on TV at The Vanns. This is a one day race over 180km with some climbing over the first 2/3's. One or two of the big name sprinters may not make the end in the bunch but this chap will and he has given me a podium or two down the years

Laporte @ 18/1

None of my books carried the ladies yesterday so forgot the thread amongst all the other sport.
As kc says - It's going to be wet and the one thing winners have in common in Paris-Roubaix is the absence of bad luck. I can see chunks of bad luck today so one bet on a favourite and a collection of beers.

Win
vd Poel @ 11/2
Colbrelli @ 50/1
e/w
Laporte @ 100/1
Walscheid @ 200/1
No one from the wolf pack but if Senechal is in the lead group around 40km out will probably take him in play
