Wales v SA + Internationals, NPC, Gallagher Prem, Top 14 5-7 Nov

I watched alot of school sport this weekend so restricted my betting a bit as I always like to watch what I bet on. Main bet was the newsletter Best Bet All Blacks over 5.5 tries which arrived late but in some style and then on Sunday Saracens delivered the Newsletter acca at just shy of 12/1 and over 47.5 points a couple of minutes from the end - a good weekend and looking forward to some great rugby this weekend.

Internationals

I have not seen any caps locally yet but here are opening lines from overseas

Italy +55 v New Zealand
Ireland -14 v Japan
England -55 v Tonga
Wales +7 v SA
France -17 v Argentina
Scotland +3 v Australia

There is also Gallagher Prem (watch out for team news with the International Window now in full force, Bunnings NP, Top 14 and I think there could be some local rugby although information is scarce

Gone in early & backed South Africa -6 @ 19/20 with spreadex . This is not the test match arm wrestle Gatland team anymore. Yes Wales are a better attacking team under Pivac but will be interesting to see how they cope against the SA defence also just think they are gonna be bullied by the springboks especially in the scrum. Wales have got a few returning players to the squad but only Faletau & probably Biggar would strengthen the Welsh defence . couple of niggly negative about South Africa are a few injuries to key players Kolbe, Du Toit & Faf De Klerk & they are not a high scoring team.

Couple of early punts for me on the Gallagher Premiership with Sunbet:

Leicester Tigers -16.5 vs Bath @ 1.92
Saracens -19.5 vs London Irish @ 1.87
Harlequins -2.5 vs Wasps @ 1.87

Each for their own reasons, I reckon these three will have sufficient determination to beat the caps.

I don't follow French Top14 anymore seriously than Superbru as info isn't easy to find, but home teams do win mostly, so have taken an acca on 4 teams to win:
La Rochelle @ 1.28
Lyon @ 1.28
Pau @ 1.23
Stade Francais @ 1.53
Accumulator the four @ 3.08 (Sunbet)

Thanx GoGo,
we don't have French rugby televised here in SA, so I pay my attention to the leagues that we can see on TV, which is anyway quite a lot of rugby each weekend: Bunnings, URC, Premiership, internationals, and the soon to start Eurocups.
But I do play Top14 on Superbru, and it's hard to miss how consistently the home team wins. So my accumulator that I took is based on taking the favourites, which are my picks on Superbru. These accas do come in often, maybe 3/4.
I'm not a very good picker, but I do like accumulators as the odds increase nicely. And the Top14 does present opportunities, so in I go :)

But thanks for the sites, I'll go take a good look.
Cheers :beer

Have taken same bet (@ 1.83) which I'd been lining up the last 24 hours. The Bok lineup and Wales injury news rubber stamped it.

Jumped on Canterbury -6.5 v Bay of Plenty this weekend.

Will be BOPs third game in 7 days. They rolled out basically the same starting team in first two and likely to do the same v Cantabs. Just finished watching them in unconvincing win against Northland - scrappy but torrid game that looked draining on tight forwards especially (including some key players).

Cantabs at home 1 point behind BOP on table, last game before semis, needing the win to go through

Expect BOP fatigue to set in and Cantabs to crush

Have fired England -58.5 at 9/10. With the team they've picked against this poor Tonga team they're going to smash that handicap.

Like the France minus aswell because Argentina so so crap.

Good evening everyone,

For this evening La Rochelle and over 28.5 points for an odds of 2.

La Rochelle aligns a solid team and must make up for a match lost last semaie against a promoted Perpignan. Opposite Bordeaux they miss a lot of people. They had to take young people from the training center as replacements.

Main plays for the weekend ->
France -14.5 is a cracker for me, argies just cannot score points and also taken under 16.5 for the pumas.
Scots on the board, Wallabies haven't convinced me yet and no Kerevi, Quade and Hodge is massive. Will add a Scots 1-12 or 1-14 depending on odds closer to kick off.
I like quins to win a lot, have taken them on the board at $1.70.

Smaller stakes however still quite confident on these ->
Boks 1-12, Boks 1-14 (2.37 on Topsport which I think is a great value bet).
A unit on Ireland 1-21 (1.98 on Topsport), following on the over 16.5 for Japan from the show.

Followed on the bath plus 18.5 and over 13.5 points from the show as well which came through very comfortably, great calls from the boys!!

Missing most action today as out for day, might get involved later. Standout for me tomorrow -

NZ women +11.5 @ 8/10

Definitely going to be far more competitive than last week, think they could win it but more confident on cap.

Taken same bet at evens with B365.

Different Tonga team lining up today, can see them frustrating England a bit.

Informations : The South African world champions are currently in Europe for their Fall Tour.

This Saturday afternoon at 6.30 p.m., the Springboks will challenge Wales in Cardiff in their first test match of the Tour in November.

Unfortunately, it was an eventful night for Eben Etzebeth and his teammates.

Indeed, we learn that the South African group was woken up twice last night by the triggering of two fire alarms in their Hilton hotel in Cardiff.

The premiere took place shortly before 4 a.m. and forced them to evacuate their Hilton Cardiff hotel to stay in the cold for about 20 minutes. At around 7.20 am, the scene must have been repeated for the same reasons

No is the answer....mind boggling really. You have a stadium WITH a roof...it's chucking it down....and you don't close it. But hey...

Thanks...but mind boggling still. 75,000 people sitting next each other....but keeping the roof open protects everyone from Covid...quite frankly I have given up making sense of anything atm. It's totally moronic...
