Canada +15.5 vs Fiji @ 1.80
Canada Win @ 7.00
Spain +19.5 vs USA @ 1.80
Spain Win @ 11.00
Fiji have looked solid this weekend, but Fiji have struggled against Canada in the past. I think the +15.5 is rooted in Canada’s massive defeat to NZ in the first session and the fact Canada that have underperformed in the last few tournaments, having missed key players due to injury who have returned this weekend. Fiji are not New Zealand. Canada is back to full strength. This is too many points.
And the USA are playing somewhat mediocre this weekend. Spain have covered +19.5 in 12 of 13 head to head meetings all time vs USA. This is an easy call.

Mexico so obviously knocked forward at least 5 or 6 times during the game and all the ref could say was "...backwards"
It was a good call just really tough luck on that one!

Japan isn’t very good but they at least have the basics of ball handling and tackling figured out. Mexico sadly doesn’t and should be put to the sword once more unless our referee friend has something to say about it once again.

Going to call it a weekend for the Canada Sevens. A phenomenal tournament including winning bets of 6/1 (Canada Win) and 16/1 (France 13+). God bless the Mexican women. Hopefully we see them back at future sevens events.
After the success we’ve had today I’ll be counting the days until the joint Men’s and Women’s Toulouse Sevens event starting on May 20th. Should be a money-making bonanza!
