Have the Tour de Romandie from today. Start with a 5km prologue and then 3 lumpy bumpies, 1 mountain top and a 15km mountain ITT to finish on Sunday. Previous winners are Froome, Roglic, Porte with G Thomas the defending champ.
Just too many riders catching flu and w/d from stage races this year for me to consider any outrights. Would probably have gone McNulty but not sure how he feels after the Liege crash.

Prologue
Win
Cavagna @ 7/2
e/w
De Bod @ 150/1

Disappointing from my two picks yesterday. Had reasonable hopes for both.
Tour de Romandie Stage 1
Around 180km today with a small climb finish at 7% for just over 1km. Would normally fancy Bevin here but not sure of his form. Two main digs the double and the Vlasov podium.

Win
Bevin @ 12/1
e/w
Vlasov @ 25/1
Match bet double
Hirschi/Teuns into O'Connor/Izagirre J @ 11/4

Higuita 7/1 (love the little bloke)
Woods 22/1 - lost a bit of time so reckon he will come out firing

Run in was more difficult then it looked on paper yesterday. Thought several riders would contest last 100m. Missed my podium by one.

Tour de Romandie Stage 2
170km With no climbs that should scare the sprinters. Expect Gaviria and Vernon to contest. Small interest looking mostly at that podium place again

Lack of sprinters - things could get messy. I wish Cavagna kept his powder dry for today as I reckon a late break could do the trick hefe.

But odds are short so I will back a messy sprint affair and Bevin at 14/1 to get an important W for Israel

Away yesterday and Bevin wins - go figure?
Tour de Romandie Stage 4
Queen stage with four Cat 1's and a few other climbs thrown in. Finish looks a little weak which means if a small GC group finishes Vlasov probably wins.
Bet and beers for the day
O'Connor @ 9/2
and the break collection
Vanhoucke @ 75/1
Powless @ 80/1
Muhlberger @ 250/1

Tour de Romandie Stage 5
Last stage today 15km ITT with 6 flat and balance up mountain. Bet I wanted was Plapp (is around 8/1 for overall win) to podium overall but only win being offered. Think he can overtake Ayuso and O'Connor and would take at around 22/10.
Stage win
Dennis @ 11/4

Also get on TV
Eschborn - Frankfurt
185km starting a little lumpy but finish for sprinters. Previous winners Philipsen, Ackermann and Kristoff 4 times. Will catch the last 10km or so for an interest

e/w
Bauhaus @ 11/1
