England v New Zealand, 1st Test Match Lords, Thursday

goodforthegame.co.za/Cricket/england-v-n...ursday-2nd-june.html

NZ have a gone off the boil a bit since winning the test champs, England have been awful in this format but now under new coach and captain, tough call imo.

With a degree of guesswork

Top England 1st Innings Bat, Jonny Bairstow at 9/2

Top NZ 1st Innings Bowler Tim Southee at 11/4

Double Century Scored in Match ? (Yes) at 7/2

(Sunbet)

England v New Zealand Outrights
Three tests played with little time off so 26 days to settlement of outrights. Prepared to look at shorter odds given this time frame.
Jamieson collected 7 wickets against India in the Test Cricket final. He also sat out the IPL to be ready for this test series.
Need a Saffa in my plan and Conway has registered 2 centuries and 1 double century in his 12 test innings to date.
Although both sides will be looking to play attacking cricket I am going to bet the english weather gets me a draw in one match. Days 4 and 5 in the first test at Lords already look a little dodgy.

Series Result
1-1 @ 4/1
Top Series Batsman
NZ
Conway @ 2/1
Top Series Bowler
NZ
Jamieson @ 11/4

England v New Zealand 1st Test
Joining Chris on Bairstow. Also going with Southee as he is already on the boards at Lords
Adding Will Young. The two warm-up matches were not great but he managed a 50*/20*/46/0. He also racked up a 134 for Northants against Warwickshire in the first division 3 weeks ago so should be OK with the Duke.

Top 1st Inn Bowler
NZ
Southee @ 3/1
Top 1st Inn Batsman
England
Bairstow @ 9/2
NZ
Young @ 5/1

England v New Zealand Day 3
NZ 236/4. Going for a little unders here
Two batsman have had the whole night to think about getting their names on the Lords board - The two previous morning sessions have seen 6 wickets each and we stand on 79 overs so a new ball session.

NZ 2nd Inn - Under 371.5 @ 9/10
