Great to have international rugby back and 4/4 for the preview picks and Newsletter Best Bet of Argentina arrived ( click here to register for our newsletter ) - only disappointment was missing the 13/2 acca with England failing to beat a 14 man Aussie side

Another big week of internationals ahead - here are the early lines at WSB

Japan +19.5 v France
New Zealand -15.5 v Ireland
Australia -1.5 v England
South Africa -15.5 v Wales
Argentina -7.5 v Scotland

Nothing obvious stands out to me and bookies have not overreacted

The Handicap show was great... the Newby what was his name-Harry was top notch.
Conductor sometimes drags on a bit too much, otherwise fine.

Harsh on the conductor there I'd say. I think he is fine as is.

Any thoughts on France U20 v SA U20 later today (streamed on YouTube)? SA are 2 wins from 2 and are around - 3pts.

Nice bet on Wales. Didn't understand the 18 handicap last game either... Last half dozen have been close.
Playing 2nd half more pnts than first in Aussie game.... usually high scoring 2nd half between these two.

Hey boys, I managed to get a punt in last week for the first time in awhile, also managed to catch the show on the replay good stuff!

None of those lines this week jump out to me but I did start of seeing NZ+18.5 thought that was nuts. @Hanrick what was that double digit home team rule again? double digit home favorite down by 10+ in the first 20 slam it on the home team? I can see NZ starting slow again, which is 100% a coaching issue, getting down 10-14 points before grinding back into the game and covering what ever the line settles at maybe around -13.5 ish.

Other than that probably a good week to target totals. My eyes will be on 2nd half AUS/ENG OVER I don't think they can set it high enough to turn me off it.

:beer it's been a good tournament to punt overs, especially the Bok group. Give me 1. warm dry weather, 2 a good surface and 3. no bad humidity and i'll punt overs no matter what, will always end up on winning side overall.

Great show again guys, Oracle with his 12 digit wrong call on the SA line is just classic stuff.

Fired in on Eng/Aus Over 47.5 to low in my view. I was expecting 53.5 which is why I wanted to target the second half but ill take that instead. I still see a tight game but these two sides will go blow for blow.

Good show last night, only drawback is that the books weren’t out with points lines to discuss that. Onto my handicap picks.

Japan +19.5. I was on the minus last week and lost out. France just switched on for 20 minutes and blew them away. I’m having another go on the plus as the French have rotated quite a bit and may come in a little complacent.

Ireland +6.5 HT. I do think the Irish team looks good and if Sexton can stay on the pitch for 40 minutes Ireland may even lead but lose it to Richie10 & co. Also took Ireland/NZ HT/FT @ 5/1

SA -10.5. I’m gladly on the minus here with the ‘form’ Bok Team. Wales picked a good team, but the Boks’ selection may have put them off their initial game plan and cast some doubts about a “B-Team” beating them. This game will be won upfront and SA just has so much more than Wales in the front five and replacements.

Few things make a Friday morning in the office as bearable as The Handicap show and, as a punter who has had a few self discipline issues and blown his roll plenty of times on garbage Korean basketball bets and ridiculous Eastern European Volleyball bets when feeling bulletproof after a good rugby weekend, your advice and opinions really were interesting, appreciated and for all young punters out there - VITAL!

By far your biggest opponent in sports betting is not the mafia, the bookies or the sports betting Gods. It is yourself and staying disciplined. Stay cool, stay calm and use this forum and you WILL make money. Just be patient. There is always going to be more rugby.

In the words of TLC "Don't go chasing waterfalls" and bad bets are a waterfall of money out of your wallet.

Thanks for the shout out last night Hanrick - always have a chuckle listening to the Oracle! I see he's had a new hair do to match his new Cape Town vibes, very jazzy - assuming his betting is going better now and can afford a session at the Barbers Chop?

Anyway, After cleaning up on u20 overs bets this week, going HEAVY in to over 49.5 in Fiji v Aus A.

Fiji scoring points ; Aus should be scoring points - not sure on the weather, but sure there will be chances both sides.

I think 50 points should come in easy here at 1.83.

Small other bets for me tomorrow which came in well last week:
Bongi and Marx ATS around 2-1 each.
Bongi FTS for their team at 6.5

Aus v Eng - Overs, doesnt matter what it is. Go overs. Aim around evens to bet on.

Good luck all.

15-13 at the break for Fiji v Aus.

This Fijian flyhalf is SHOCKING.

2 missed conversions, 1 missed penalty he almost shanked in to touch, 1 direct kick into Touch off a restart, missed touch off a penalty.
Wouldn’t be surprised to hear he’s looking for a boot sponsor.

In any case, need 22 points in the second half, but with this kicking, won’t happen.

C’mon All Blacks, bring it home! Contemplated some Ireland 23/20 to turn this into a free bet but I don’t think Ireland can win this after NZ keeping them out with 13. Has to shake the confidence. Just going to cheer on a 5/1.

Right , the important part of the day , have a decent bank and don't want to give it back.
Bloemfontein, main strike is unders 55.5 , for me this is golden . A new look Springbok side, combinations , angus gardner a small concern , but firing .
Tonight all over scotland on the best plus , taken some 5.5 but keeps shortening . Grr
Might have a look at the unders there also at 48.5 pts.

On the lessor scale I fancy georgia plus 6.5 , they should go close.
