Lots of games this week, will need all the intel we can get!

Some snippets so far:
- Smith will be back for Harlequins, Will Evans most likely still out with concussion
- Val Repava Ruskin will most likely be injured for Gloucester
- Luke Cowan-Dickie has not flown to SA and is injured
- Paddy Jackson may not be fit for Irish
- Watch out to see if Farrell and Tuilagi are cited

TA!

Tuilagi free to play and SR are dealing with important absences (Atonio, Bourgarit and Danty out injured) and Ulster +16.5 looks valuable on paper but after last weeks awful performances may not be real value there.

In my opinion early value is on

Ospreys +4.5 (now +2.5 as they face Montpellier at home and after last week little rotation and with good in run form should be favourites)
Sharks -14.5 (Bordeaux expect to rotate heavily with almost no chances to qualify and long travel to Durban and Sharks fresh from last week rotation)
Edinburgh dnb (same as previous match, Castres no interest while Edinburgh comes fresh from last week heavy rotation)
Harlequins +11.5 (Racing out of contention because they don't hace any chance of winning in Dublín next week while Harlequins expect Smith back)

Damian Penaud absent against the tigers, he is the best player in Clermont

As an apology for my horrible tip of Lions over 10.5 last week I might have a goodie early doors -

Bulls -3.5 & Stormers -2.5 @3.4

Bulls will be full strength, playing for Jake and have the Loftus factor. Exeter are a good side, but Loftus and highs of 34 degrees are going to be tough for those boys from an ice cold UK.

Stormers will be disappointed with last week and will be looking to come back to SA with all smiles. Weather looks perfect and I back Money Libbok to sort his kicking and to have a bit of an old fashioned throw around.

Will be looking to back overs in both also and will be very happy at lines in the mid 50’s - low 50’s/ high 40’s and my betslip will be hotter than a Tabasco enema.

I thought Bulls said they were solely concentrating on the URC?

Do we think they'll go full strength?

Important players missing by Leicester (Montoya, Cole, Green, Liebenberg, Wiese, Ashton, Watson, Porter) but lineup looks nice (except Steward out for position) so if line rises up to +8.5 at @1.70 or better is for 2u.

Penaud and Iturria are out for Clermont and are their two most influential players. Beheregaray, Falgoux, Lavanini also out and the starting half pair is awful.

No valuable hándicap line for Leicester but I took u48.5 @1.80 2u.

For me is an under match in this circumstances, Fischer back for Clermont against Reffell will be a great battle at the breakdown. Clermont half pair is pretty awful in my opinion and Pollard at 10 for Tigers will mean high number of kicks.

Good call Brad Breath I see that handicap shifted

Stade Francais v Lions

No points lines yet and bookies generally tight on their handicap lines

Having a stab at Lions on the board at 3/1

One of the worst games of rugby I've watched in a long while Irish v Stormers. Officials terrible and Stormers playing against 13 woeful.
Constantly kicking the ball away when playing against 13 men do not understand it. They are a poor side I wouldn't fancy them at all up against a decent team this year. Officials how they don't even check the White try is a joke

As a die hard Stormers fan…. Yassis but that was kak. I’ll take the win but crikey. Problems.

Ok, last of the weekend -

Overs Bath vs Toulon -
I don’t think the bookies have adjusted since the game was moved and both these teams will want to jol I think. Potent back line for Toulon

Aaaaaand -

Quins over 24.5
They are going to Paris to play, Smith is back and points are gonna flow!

Both the Sharks and Stormers actually played worse against 13 men - poor end to the weekend for me - finished slightly down

I know Hanrick has been lying low but he would have done well this weekend with his backing the team that gets the red card strategy

Going to have a bit of a study of the log tonight and will come up with some projected handicaps
