Last week was something of a roller coaster for me, but I managed to recover from a terrible Friday to finish only slightly down with the bookmakers. The comeback was largely due to the Newsletter Best Bet with the Lions outright arriving away to the Cheetahs.
This week Friday has treated me rather well with the Crusaders minus and Moana unders arriving and the Reds overs (in the last minute) and Toulon minus ensuring I head into Saturday with confidence high.

LEINSTER TO BURY GHOST OF FINALS PAST
Leinster and La Rochelle have met twice in the Champions Cup most recently in last years final with La Rochelle winning 24-21 in Marseille. The La Rochelle pack got on top of Leinster and strangled the life out of them and I have always maintained that Leinster and indeed Ireland need to fear the big packs.
Can Leinster bury the ghost? Yes I believe they can. For my money Leinster are an improved team and although there is heaps of pressure on them (especially after last weeks team selection gamble failed) I believe they have what it takes up front to stand up to La Rochelle and get the early lead that will allow them to apply pressure and control the game.
I went with the minus in the Leinster v La Rochelle preview on Goodforthegame and will make that my best bet in front of a passionate home crowd – it is amazing that we have at least 3 THE HANDICAP viewers who will be at the game so conditions reports for points backers won’t be an issue
