Our incredible run of last minute winners continued last week when the Newsletter Best Bet, Wales to beat Scotland, arrived after the hooter.
Wales had looked dominant in the first-half, but Scotland fought their way back into the match and when they levelled things up with around a minute to go the draw seemed inevitable. Wales though held the ball through multiple phases before winning the penalty and full credit to the reserve scrum-half who stepped up and slotted one of the better kicks I have seen in the Tournament so far.
The less said about last weekend’s ACCA the better, it was never a runner.
WOMENS RUGBY WORLD CUP – ROUND 2
I am excited for all the rugby this weekend and in particular the Women’s World Cup where I feel there are going to be some nice bets to be had. I was joined last night by Harry Jones from The Roar and we looked at the second round matches and discussed the handicaps.

SHARKS TO FIRE ON HOME SOIL
Onto this week’s Best Bet, it is with somewhat nervousness that I am looking at the Sharks to deliver the handicap at home to Glasgow. The Sharks despite losing the handicap last week to Leinster on the road actually looked quite impressive and delivered one of my bigger bets on the weekend which was Sharks over 17.5 points.
In betting circles we often mention the fact that they are not good at delivering big minuses and often fluff their lines at home when firm favourites, but I do think that this strong Sharks squad is starting to click and from what I have seen from Glasgow this season, they are a very different side at home than they are on the road.
I mentioned in the preview that this handicap might shift out a couple more points and having tipped -10.5 the best I can find now is -12.5. I am scaling back my stake slightly and am going for it.
