newsletterThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 16th and 17th July and a 5/1 acca with @SunbetSA

Who would have thought that all 4 of the South v North Test Matches would have been sitting 1-1 with the 3rd and Final Test awaiting?

I was working out the cumulative odds of last week’s 4 Northern Hemisphere victories and you could have got around 240/1 had you fancied it up front.  I am not sure many of us did though, although Ireland was a popular choice amongst Goodforthegame punters and delivered the Newsletter Best bet for us when they not only beat the handicap but won the match against the All Blacks.

TOUR DE FRANCE
I love my cycling betting and it has been a  good tour so far hitting a 50/1 shot on Sunday and a 14/1 shot yesterday (the 14/1 shout won in a way totally different to what I was expecting).but that being said I have had 2 near misses with a 50/1 shot pipped on the line and 66/1 SA rider Meintjes finishing second up Alpe D’Huez on Thursday.

TRIES AT A PREMIUM IN CAPE TOWN
The points line has been set at 48.5 in todays 3rd test between the Boks and Wales and I am leaning unders and went for Wales under 17.5 at 5/6 in the South Africa v Wales Goodforthegame Preview. Now that the try markets are out I think there could be better value and am taking Wales under 1.5 tries at 27/25
The Welsh never looked dangerous against a disjointed Bok team last week and on a pitch that cuts up and against a Bok team that I expect to focus on defence I like the unders here. I also expect all kicks for posts to be taken in this series decider.
If the Welsh beat this line I expect the under 17.5 will go as well and prefer the odds against price on the try spread.

BET: 5 units Wales under 1.5 tries at 27/25 at Sunbet

If you are looking for a big priced acca check out forum poster Wager Warlock 41/1 play this weekend

I am going for a more conservative play

1 unit down at 5/1 at Sunbet

Ireland +10.5 at 15/20
Australia -2.5 at 9/10
Argentina win at 8/10

Have a great weekend everyone and if you are watching the golf shout Rory McIlroy home with me as I have a decent strike on him at 9/1
