Last week the Rugby World Cup hangover set in and after three games and three losses (including the Stormers Newsletter Bet) I decided to throw in the towel, I just wasn’t up to the fight.
In fact a break is exactly what I need and as timing would have it I am heading off with my wife for a long weekend and have been told there is no signal or DSTV there so it will be a bit of an enforced layoff for me. I will still have a couple of bets of course, but stakes will be lower as I won’t be able to watch the games and I think the freshening up will do me good.
THE HANDICAP
It was a crazy week on a number of fronts for me and thanks to Couch Critic for hosting last night’s THE HANDICAP when we were joined by The Understaker to go through the URC matches.

POINTS TO BE AT A PREMIUM IN BELFAST
The Lions are away to Ulster this week and they were one of the few highlights last week when they managed to beat the Scarlets by a point. I just get the feeling they may already had one foot back in South Africa and I think that Ulster at home would be too strong. With some inclement weather around the bet I like is the Lions unders points. I went under 19.5 in the preview but unfortunately the line has now come in to 16.5.
At that level I am dropping the stakes so it is a very small Best Bet this weekend.
