The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend of 19th to 21st June
It was great watching New Zealand rugby last week and better still we got our Best Bet mailer off to a cracking re-start with the Chiefs delivering on the second half handicap despite losing the game to a dramatic drop goal.
I am sure, like me, many of you are appreciating all the live sport that is starting around the world including the English Premier League which got going on Wednesday. There are two games taking place on Friday night including Tottenham v Man United and Chris has previewed them - Click Here to see where his money is going.
CRUSADERS TO HIT GROUND RUNNING
Let’s face it the best bet was always going to come from Super Rugby and the panel on last night’s THE HANDICAP show were quite divided in the opening game for this week, in fact the lads were leaning towards the Chiefs predominantly and almost the lone voice calling the Blues was yours truly.

Back to the show and it was very interesting that the panel (welcome back Justin) were absolutely unanimous that the Crusaders (-6.5) was the bet. In fact @Son_of_a_Punt had expressed surprise that the market hadn’t moved from when they posted it on the Goodforthegame Forum on Sunday, but indications are that it is indeed now starting to go out. It is funny how punters can see things differently though because a number of guys in our Live Chat were actually fancying the Hurricanes to beat the Handicap.

Bet: 5 units Crusaders (-6.5) at 23/25 at Sunbet – note most books have moved to 7.5 or shortened the -6.5

A POINTS LINE WE CANNOT RESIST
We also have to throw in a punt purely on price. It was mentioned on the show last night by SOAP and I said that if he bookmaker still had the bet in the morning I would add it to the mailer.
Betxchange go u30.5 1st half points in Chiefs v Blues at 0.74/1 and in my opinion the 9/10 line should be around 25.5 so that is a play on value alone. These bets don’t always arrive but as responsible punters we are obliged to take them when they pop up!
Bet: 7 units u30.5 half time points at 0.74/1 Chiefs v Blues at Betxchange
