Punters are generally a greedy breed and last week is a good example of this. We finally broke the Newsletter Best Bet losing streak when both the Reds and the Highlanders beat their alternative handicaps to land the 12/10 double and to top it off we also hit the 22/1 acca hot on the heels of the 11/1 acca from the week before.
I made decent money on the weekend but because I was away in Durban on my son’s rugby tour, I never got to watch many of the matches and I am a sort of punter who doesn’t bet big less he is able to watch the game, so even though I came away with a nice profit I still had that nagging feeling I should have exploited that rich vein of form a little more aggressively.
THE HANDICAP – some strong fancies from the panel

Hurricanes to deliver Sunday morning cheer!
Both @ThoughtsOnSports and The Understaker were strong on the Hurricanes plus against the Chiefs in the early Sunday morning kick off. Hanrick even quoted our old mate the Oracle suggesting the books have the wrong favourite. The money has started to come and you can read the Hurricanes v Chiefs betting preview here and lets hope the Sunday morning coffee tastes all the sweeter after the game.
