You are never too old to learn in this game and last week I made an amateur mistake that cost me a good few rand.
I went for the Bulls -16.5 at home to the Lions and although I had a nagging feeling at the back of my mind that team selection could surprise, my thinking was that the Lions might load their side a bit and that had already been factored into the handicap. What I didn’t expect though was a very much second string Bulls side to take the field and the handicap went from -16.5 to +4.5 and I mentally wrote the bet off. The Bulls actually gave me hope grabbing a handy half-time lead and although they did hold on to win the game my handicap bet was shot.

The only thing to do is draw a line under that one and move on and the healing began on last night’s THE HANDICAP, Rugby Betting Show. I was joined by @theCRowetips and @UKRugbyBets who was a late stand-in for The Conductor who had load shedding.

LEICESTER TO GET THE JOB DONE
Both guests on last nights show made Leicester -9.5 a solid bet and that is where I am heading this week. Leicester are 4 points clear of Saracens at the top of the table and they will be highly motivated to win this game against the Falcons who have had a poor season. Leicester face a tough game against Wasps next week and the feeling is they will get the job done this week.
