The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 20th to 21st January including a 11/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet
I sent a tweet this morning that I am like the Dewald Brevis of the punting world at the moment. I am seeing the ball ok but keep taking wrong options and can’t seem to catch a break.
Last night was a case in point, I liked Glasgow -14.5 but as the cap had shifted up so I started looking at points and went Glasgow over 32.5 instead. Final result 29-5 with the cap landing easily but the points missing.
I am not even going to talk about last weeks Toulon play and will rather look ahead to an interesting sports betting weekend where for the 1st time in recent history my best bet is not a rugby one.
THE HANDICAP
I was joined by 1st time guest The Mossman from Auckland New Zealand and this guy really knows his rugby (his best bet was Glasgow -13.5) and although team sheets had not come out for the Saturday games his excellent analyses is well worth a listen

SA20 – AS CLOSE TO FREE MONEY AS YOU WILL GET
Those who watched my video on the “One Handed Catch” will know I am on under 8 catches at 7/4 and Centurion to get the most catches at 4/1.
The under 8 was looking really good until the Centurion double on Thursday and to the best of my knowledge we have had 3 from 11 matches, all 3 from Centurion.
Tournament Sponsors Betway are updating these markets and under 8 is now trading at 27/20 but the big surprise to me is Centurion trading at 1/1. It was 17/10 yesterday and I grabbed some more although I could not get much of it – not sure if my market exposure is limited or they have now lowered limits.
In any case I think the 1/1 Centurion is an excellent play.
Note: When I placed my original bets it was for group stages only, this has now been removed from the description suggesting it now covers the playoffs as well which I see is 4 games this year instead of 3.
They are 3 ahead of the other grounds with 3 more games to host. There are 3 games left at Boland Park, St Georges and Kingsmead priced at 23/4. It would be a big ask for either of these to overtake Centurion.
Wanderers is a potential danger as there are 6 games (incl 2 playoff games) and Newlands has 5 games left (incl 2 playoffs) so it is not impossible one of these grounds could make a run.
Another way to look at it is Newlands have 1 game more than Centurion left and the Wanderers 2 but they are 3 catches behind.
The 4/1 may be long gone by the 1/1 is still a cracking play and in my opinion bordering on free money!.
I won’t assign units to this but if you can get it a healthy chunk of it you should be able to cover if it comes under threat.
BET: Centurion most 1 handed catches at 1/1 at Betway

HULLE WEET NIE WAT ONS WEET NIE
I have not really got into UFC but am getting seriously excited for Strickland v Du Plessis tomorrow morning.
There has been plenty of trash talk in the build up although credit to Dricus who at least keeps it above gutter level – Strickland on the other hand is one of the least likeable fighters I have seen.
My son loves UFC and wrote this preview for Dricus sponsors WSB and I am going to back Dricus to win this one and hopefully take advantage of their “Double your money payout if Dricus wins within 2 rounds” – usual T&Cs apply and a R2000 max
The longer the fight goes the better for Strickland so lets hope Dricus gets him to the ground early and delivers the killer blow.
BET: 3 units Du Plessis win at 19/20 at WSB
This one made me chuckle on a whatsapp group this morning
“If Dricus wins he will be ranked 1 in the world, but only 8th in Boksburg”
We can’t have no rugby interest so here is the acca at 11/1
0.5 units at 11/1 at WSB
Bordeaux over 24.5 points at 9/10
Over 42.5 points Stade v Stormers at 9/10
Saints +6.5 at 17/20
Leinster -9.5 at 17/20

Have a great weekend and go Dricus!
