Last week’s Best Bet on Cardiff (-3.5) arrived, but the Sharks certainly made us sweat in that second half, dominating for long periods and I was a very happy man when that final whistle went.
Overall it was a weekend where I started badly and clawed back on the Saturday night to get just ahead and then I put up my feet on Sunday and decided not to get further involved.
CATCHING UP WITH AN OLD PUNTING MATE
In last night’s edition of THE HANDICAP it was great to catch up with Brendan O’Connell, a long time mate of mine who started the predecessor to Goodforthegame “Sports Review” with me way back in 2005. We also did a sports betting radio show together on 1485AM Radio Today back in 2008/2009.
