The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 4th, 5th May including a 11/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet
My move into golf last week didn’t work out with Cantlay and Xander crumbling like the top tennis biscuit in the 3rd round as a bunch if no-namers moved past them.
It started out a good weekend for me in the rugby but my fortunes turned when I went under 60.5 in the Highlanders v Force game. It was a shocker of a match, an Understakers wet dream, but when I logged on to my account to see my balance I was alarmed to see that despite hitting “F5” the balance did not budge.
I had in fact backed the overs – why is it these errors never seem to go in the punters favour.
From that point on I could do no right!
THE HANDICAP
We had a late kickoff on Thursday as Nathan had a school drop off and I was in Pretoria to watch my son play some varsity rugby. The Crowe Tips joined us and if you missed the show the links below will be useful

FRESH LEINSTER THE BUSINESS AT CROKE PARK
Veterans of the forum and mailing list will know that I love playoff rugby and that when I like the favourite a double digit minus is no discouragement.
Leinster play the Saints at the “neutral” Croke Park today and it should be a great match. The full preview is here and I got it up early not because I expected major line movement (it has shifted a point as punters around the world nod their head in agreement with my analyses LOL) but because I knew team news would not change my mind and I saw no reason to wait.
Leinsters last 5 playoff victories in this tournament have been by 14 or more including the 27 point win over La Rochelle last time out when they were the best bet.
The team is fresh and I expect them to win this going away and I am still interested at the current line.
BET: 5 units Leinster -14.5 at 19/20 at WSB
The Goodforthegame Forum never sleeps and here are some threads to watch this weekend
- Rugby (of course)
- Horseracing where the likes of South and KT have built a proper following
- The Footy Thread
- UFC action comes to us from Brazil this week
- IPL comes at us thick and fast
This weeks acca works out at 11/1 and you can use code 6057300 to populate the bet slip
0.5 units down at 11/1 at WSB
Force under 2.5 tries at 5/6
Brumbies over 35.5 pts at 8/10
Gloucester -4 at 19/20
Toulouse -18 at 1/1 (I wanted to go overs but line is 60 points so bookies are onto this one)
Have a great weekend, I have just got back into coaching and am off to watch my team play.
Cheers
