Last week was a quiet one on the betting front and after getting over the disappointment of losing the 4 URC games in SA I summoned up the energy for a Best Bet on the Baa Baas tries only for that to be cancelled.
I then took a big strike on Wilco Nienaber for the SA Open golf and after scrolling nervously down the leaderboard looking for his name I found out he never started.
THE HANDICAP
I was crazy at work this week and aside from listening to the panel on THE HANDICAP I never got much of a chance to do homework until last night. Fortunately I followed the lads on the Sharks game although I missed the handicap and took over 24.5 points, so I have some ammo for the day.
They were also strong on Gloucester who cruised home but I was playing some online poker with mates and never got involved.

Lions to score in Cape Town
There was some +12.5 Lions while we were recording Thursdays show and there was -9.5 in places and I took the +11.5 on offer when I wrote the Stormers v Lions Preview
Those that have been with Goodforthegame for years will know I prefer points plays to handicaps and with conditions set to be good I am going for the visitors to score 18 or more.
They have a strong side and I think they will get their electric winners into play as often as possible and hopefully the erratic Fred can keep the scoreboard ticking.
