India have been absolutely perfect in this World Cup to-date with a 100% record in the group stages. They also finish with a net run rate of +2.57 more than double that of second placed South Africa.
India won their first 5 matches batting second, but have shown their versatility by winning their last 4 games batting first and they have scored in excess of 300 runs in their last 3 matches.
THE DON’S PLAY – Virat Kohli, Top Indian Batsman at 3.75
Virat Kohli is currently the top run scorer in the Tournament and he is the sort of player that will place a lot of value on winning this award. He has been in superb form with the bat and I am going to back him to be India’s Top Batsman on the day.

NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand finished 4th on the log with 5 wins and 4 losses in their 9 matches. Their best performance probably came in the opening game when they chased down 283 runs to beat England by 9 wickets with 82 balls in hand and after winning their first 4 games they looked certainties for the final. Things went South though when they lost to India by 4 wickets and Australia by 5 runs, only to get hammered by South Africa by 190 runs. They were then a bit unlucky going down to Pakistan with the Duckworth Lewis method before a convincing 5 wicket win over Sri Lanka saw them into the final 4.
THE DON’S PLAY – Rachin Ravindra to score the most 4’s at 9.50
Ravindra has been the stand-out batsman for New Zealand and currently sits 3rd in the runs log, just 29 runs behind Kohli. He has had over fifty 4’s in the Tournament to-date and if he comes good, could deliver for me here at a nice price.
