The Reds dropped the ball badly for us last week. Let’s just move swiftly along to Week 6 and try and spot some winners!

 

Brumbies vs Western Force – Friday 26 Mar @ 11:45, Canberra

 

The Brumbies return after a heart-breaking defeat to the Reds a fortnight ago. The Force brought the Reds down to their level in Brisbane last week but I am by no means convinced that the Westerners are anywhere near the level of the men from the capitol. The Champs haven’t quite been able to physically impose their forward-based domination strategy on their opponents to the degree that they would have liked but I don’t see the Force being able to stop them in the same manner as some of the others have.

Double: Brumbies -7.5 onto Reds -8.5 @ 1.77

We go again looking for the two big boys to out-muscle their opponents. The Reds should be all business this week after letting their guard down a touch last week whilst a Brumbies team in pain won’t be handing out soft toys to the toddler-like Force.

It’s time to get back on the hooker train. I can see the Brumbies ending the game with a trademark rolling thunder finish.

 

Waratahs vs Reds – Saturday 27 Mar @ 10:45, Brisbane

 

I feared a Reds hangover last week and that is exactly what we got. Having almost tripped over the Force last week I reckon Brad Thorne will have his chargers raring to go in Sydney. The Tahs have been found woefully out of their depth thus far in the 2021 comp and a focussed Reds outfit should find it easy enough to put a double digit beating on the Waratahs on Saturday.

A motivated Reds side to stick it to their struggling hosts from the opening whistle.
