We move onto red ball action in the West Indies. The first of the two tests starts in Antigua on Sunday.
How I see it Playing Out
The likes of Bonner and Mayers came out of the Bangladesh series with plenty of confidence and now they are joined by proven performers in Kraig Brathwaite and Darren Bravo. For their opponents Mickey Arthur requires a big series form his chargers. In theory Chandimal, Matthews, Karunaratne et al are capable but unfortunately about as consistent as ESKOM.
The last time we saw test match action here Ishant Sharma, Bumrah and Roach all enjoyed good success but I would be surprised to not see some help for the spinners later. In Cornwell, Warrican and Embuldeniya there are certainly some decent tweakers in the ranks.

Top Windies 1st Innings Batsman – Kyle Mayers @ 6.50
Fresh off some superb form, I see no reason why he can’t follow that up here.
Top Sri Lanka 1st Innings Batsman – Niroshan Dickwella @ 6.00
Often the only Sri Lankan with the guts to have a go. He is a touch hit and miss but has as good a shot as any to come off.
Man of the Match – Jason Holder @ 10.00
Always a handy player to have on your side with his contribution with both bat and ball.
Series Plays
Top Sri Lanka Series Bowler – Wanidu Hasaranga @ 5.00
Not guaranteed to start but given his superb form in the short format I like his chances.
Top Sri Lanka Series Batsman – Dhananjaya de Silva @ 13.00
De Silva is back from injury. In his last outing he left the field having scored 70 against South Africa. With the inconsistency of the other batters around him this looks a great play.
Top Windies Series Batsman – Darren Bravo @ 4.00
Bravo is back and I’m hoping he can pile on the runs.
