We take a closer look at 3 of the English Premier League matches taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each.
Manchester City look to be cruising towards yet another title and they are 1/10 to hold off Liverpool priced at 6/1. There are plenty of other long term betting markets to get involved in such as the Winner without the Big 6, Which Teams will get Relegated and of course the Top Goal Scorer.

SATURDAY
ARSENAL v BRENTFORD
Arsenal are currently 6th on the table and they have been in decent form with just 1 loss in their last 7 matches. Last time out they beat Wolves 1-0 on the road and their last home game was a disappointing goalless draw with Burnley. Arsenal’s home games have averaged 2.4 goals this season with 5 of the 11 matches reaching the 3 goal mark.
Brentford are currently 14th on the table and on a poor run that has seen them take just 1 point from their last 6 matches, that point came last time out a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace. Their last away game they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City. Brentford away games have averaged 2.9 goals each with an even split of over and under 2.5 goals.

Arsenal 9/20
Draw 33/10
Brentford 13/2
Suggested Bet: Arsenal (-1) at 5/4
The Gunners are in pretty good form and looked to be making a surge towards the Top 4 on the table while Brentford are battling after a strong start to the English Premier League campaign and they will no doubt be looking behind them now at the sides fighting for relegation just below.
MANCHESTER CITY v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
This is the match of the weekend and pits 1st place City up against 8th placed Tottenham.
City are in excellent form and have only lost 2 matches out of 25 all season, last time out they hammered Norwich 4-0 on the road and their last home game was a 2-0 win over Brentford.
Tottenham on the other hand are battling and they have lost their last 3 including home defeats to Wolves and Southampton while their last road trip finished in a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea.
Manchester City’s home games have averaged 3.3 goals each and they scored almost 3 goals a game in their 12 matches while conceding just half a goal per match
Looking at Tottenham’s away goal form, they are amongst the lowest scoring in the Division with away matches averaging just 2.4 goals each and Tottenham have only scored 10 goals in 10 matches on the road.
Tottenham won the reverse fixture 1-0 at home earlier this season, but Manchester City romped to victory in this fixture last season 3-0.

Manchester City 2/7
Draw 9/2
Tottenham 9/1
Suggested Bet: Correct score Manchester City 3, Tottenham 0 at 6/1
I like a repeat of last year’s game as I think City are going to be too strong for them and I have a speculative stab at Correct Score market.
Alternative Bet: Handicap, Manchester City (-1.5) goals at 15/20
This will be my main bet on the game and for it to arrive I need Manchester City to win by more than a goal something I am pretty confident of.
SUNDAY
LEEDS UNITED v MANCHESTER UNITED
Leeds are currently 15th on the table with just 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. They were beaten 3-0 away by Everton last time out. Their last home game was a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle.
Manchester United are currently 4th on the log having pretty good form with just win in their last 10 starts. They beat Brighton 2-0 at home last time out and their last away game was a 1-1 draw against Burnley. These home games have been much lower scoring this season than last and have averaged 2.7 goals each with just over 50% of their home games delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers. Having a look at the Manchester United goal stats there is a 50% split between overs and unders and their away games averaged 2.9 goals each.
Manchester United hammered Leeds 5-1 at home earlier this season.

Leeds 28/10
Draw 27/10
Manchester United 9/10
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Leeds (+1) at 9/10
I am sticking with the Handicap bet this weekend and I really like Leeds to get something against a Manchester United side that has tended to dominate them at home, but struggle on the road against them.
If you are looking for a bigger price perhaps the draw at 27/10 is a slightly riskier option, but that will require less stake.
