BettingDiaryEnglish Premier League fans have Monday night football to look forward to and we take a look at the game between Leicester and Nottingham from a betting angle.

There were wins this weekend for top of the table, Arsenal and 2nd placed Manchester City who have now shortened into 1/4 to win the title with Arsenal replacing Liverpool in 2nd place in the betting at 8/1 and you can now get 10/1 Liverpool and 33/1 Chelsea and Tottenham.

Leicester are currently bottom on the table with just 1 point in their opening 7 matches, they are 3 points behind Nottingham who sit second from bottom with just 1 win and a draw in their opening 7 games. Leicester have lost their last 6 matches including going down 6-2 away to Tottenham last time out. Their only point this season did come at home in a 2-2 draw with Brentford, but since then they have lost 2-1 to Southampton and 1-0 to Manchester United in front of their own fans.

Leicester’s matches have averaged 4.6 goals this season with Leicester being outscored by more than two goals to one. 4 of Leicester’s 7 matches would have delivered profits for you had you backed over 3.5 goals.

Nottingham have lost 4 games in a row most recently going down 3-2 at home to Fulham. Their last away game was a 6-0 hammering at Manchester City and overall on the road this season they have just taken 1 point from their 3 matches that coming at Everton.

Nottingham games have averaged 3.3 goals each this season and like Leicester they have been outscored by more than a goal a game and Nottingham have only scored 6 goals in their 7 matches. 4 out of the 7 Nottingham games have failed to reach the 3 goal mark.

There is no recent League form between the sides, but they did meet in the FA Cup back in February of this year with Nottingham beating Leicester 4-1.

Leicester are really battling, but I do feel they will turn the corner at some point and I will back them to get their first 3 pointer of the season on Monday.

Suggested Bet: Leicester win at 8/10

My 2nd bet on the game is going to be over 3.5 goals, something which would have arrived in Leicester’s last two League games and in Forest’s last game.

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 13/8
