Manchester City Form

Manchester City saw off Atletico Madrid in their quarter-final winning 1-0 on aggregate over the two leg that victory coming at home before a goalless draw on the road was good enough to see them through.

They had a much easier time in the last 16 beating Sporting 5-0 on aggregate where they did the damage in the first leg on the road before playing out a goalless draw at home. City haven't conceded a goal in their last 4 European fixtures and they had won all 3 of their games in the group stages.

Manchester City continue to top the English Premier League and had few problems in seeing off Watford 5-1 at home on Saturday.

Real Madrid Form

Real Madrid required extra time to beat Chelsea in their quarter-final having won the away leg 3-1, Chelsea reversed the score in Madrid only for the home team to snatch victory.

They saw off PSG in the last 16, 3-2 on aggregate and lost the first leg on the road before coming from behind to win 3-1 in Madrid. Madrid’s away record in the group stages was 3 from 3 scoring 9 goals without conceding.

Real Madrid were also in action on the weekend beating Osasuna 3-1 on the road and they have won 4 in a row in the domestic competition and are runaway leaders 15 points clear of Barcelona.

Head to Head

These sides met twice in the Champions league in the 2019/2020 season with Manchester City winning 2-1 on each occasion.

Manchester City 5/10

Draw 15/4

Real Madrid 11/2

Suggested Bet: Winning Margin, Manchester City by 1 goal exactly at 26/10

I think this is going to be a tight match and I certainly give Real Madrid a chance of coming away with at least a draw. City are a formidable side at home though and will back them to edge this by a goal. The last two meetings between these sides has finished 2-1 to Manchester City and for those who enjoy punting the Correct Score Market that is available at 13/2.
