In the Women’s World Cup Banyana Banyana take on Germany and our ladies are still looking for their first point having lost both their matches so far, 3-1 to Spain and 1-0 to China. The Germans have won both their games by a 1-0 scoreline and are already assured to progress from Group B. Theoretically Banyana could yet claim a best third placed finisher spot but it would take a remarkable sequence of results and in all likelihood this will be their last action of the tournament. In the betting Germany are overwhelming favourites to maintain their 100% record. Let’s hope Banyana can at least find the net and the price for both teams to score is currently 17/10.
