CitizenBlogI have had to adjust to life without Sports Betting and, I can tell you, it hasn’t been easy.

Credit to the bookmakers though they never twiddle their thumbs and while looking through the Specials section at World Sports Betting I did find a couple of interesting ones including the name of Boris Johnson’s baby, where Alexander and Alexandra were trading at 15/2 market leaders.

While that may interest UK punters closer to home we have betting on The Bachelor South Africa and viewers will be glued to the screen for Thursday night’s airing of the 8th episode.

I must admit that this is not a programme I normally watch, but the lockdown has meant a lot more TV time in the evenings and what started out as a reluctant viewing (thanks to my wife and daughter controlling the remote) has now grabbed me.

I was interested to see that Bridget is trading at even money to be booted after Episode 8 with Qiniso, who I must admit I had lined up as a personal favourite, at 15/10 and Gillian also 15/10 while Jess C, who seems to be losing favour with the Bachelor, is currently priced at 28/10. Marisia is not surprising a big underdog in this market at 45/1 after the intimate moment she shared with the Bachelor on last week’s episode. Pasha while not very well liked amongst the girls is clearly one of the Bachelor’s favourites and she is 6/1 to make a departure on Thursday night.

There is also betting on which lady will be engaged to Marc at the end of the season. Marisia has moved to favourite here at 15/10 with Jess R 3/1 and interestingly third in the betting is no-one to get engaged to him at 11/2. Pasha, who many reading this article may recognize, but not want to acknowledge to their wives, is 8/1 with Mulesa 17/2 and I think there could be some value in the stunning Rikki who started strong, but seems to have drifted into the background a bit at 10/1.

So if you want to rev up your viewing of the Bachelor you can log on to World Sports Betting at wsb.co.za, open an account, get a match deposit and have a punt on who will be eliminated or who will win and what is already a spicy programme should become that much more exciting.
